My wife and eat every Friday night at nanuet restaurant and never had issues but last my wife ordered a Margaret pizza which said on the menu the it is made with fresh mozzarella, basil , fresh tomatoes but all she got was sauce instead of fresh tomatoes. She questioned the waitress and said that how they make it ..that was our only issue. Everything else was delicious

I ordered takeout at 5:35pm for a pizza and some apps. I was told 35 minutes on the phone. I showed up at 6:05 and was told the order wasn’t ready. I said that’s fine I’ll have a drink while I wait. I sat at the bar for 20 min and had a drink. When I saw the host I asked if the order was ready and he said no it will be ready at after 7pm. I understand it’s a Saturday but it wasn’t even that busy.

We had come to this restaurant because of my friend's recommendation and a coupon in my local Clipper magazine. The food was OK but that was the only thing that was OK. First, we got sat by the area right next to the entrance foyer so it was so cold I had to keep my coat on. There were other tables but we got placed at this one. Second, we got really poor service and the server never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. It took at least 40+ minutes for our pizza to come out but it took less than 20 minutes for the people who got sat 10 minutes after us. FYI - they had the same exact pizza as we did. Finally, the pretzel bites were slightly stale. All in all, we both decided that this isn't a place for us. Maybe for the regulars who seem to be getting all the server's attention it was great but we would have gotten better service at any of the other restaurants in Nanuet that we have been to.
