We had come to this restaurant because of my friend's recommendation and a coupon in my local Clipper magazine. The food was OK but that was the only thing that was OK. First, we got sat by the area right next to the entrance foyer so it was so cold I had to keep my coat on. There were other tables but we got placed at this one. Second, we got really poor service and the server never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. It took at least 40+ minutes for our pizza to come out but it took less than 20 minutes for the people who got sat 10 minutes after us. FYI - they had the same exact pizza as we did. Finally, the pretzel bites were slightly stale. All in all, we both decided that this isn't a place for us. Maybe for the regulars who seem to be getting all the server's attention it was great but we would have gotten better service at any of the other restaurants in Nanuet that we have been to.

This place has been popular for pizza since I was a kid but they have really stepped up their game with the menu and quality of food the past few years. A great variety of options and daily special, plus lots of specialty pies. The pizza crust is buttery and the perfect thickness, and a large pie is enough for 2-3 people. The French onion soup is huge and full of cheese. The chicken and vegetables are always fresh, and the service is on point. During peak times, it gets very busy and is very loud in both the bar and dining room. If you want a quieter experience, go earlier or later than the usual 5-7 dinner crowd.Parking: There are a few spaces at the main entrance and more around the back of the building, but at peak times most spots are full.

This has alway been a solid restaurant and bar. I’ve been going there for over 50 years and I will say the new owners have made it even better. The classic pizza is still classic and they have added so much more.

So I never write reviews about this place only because I'm here all the time. And everything is fantastic. Of course, the pizza is the best around but last night I went to dinner with my friend Jean and I have not been able to eat like solid food because I needed a Crown so there was a special on the menu that was their 16 oz steak so I said I was going to get that period well, you don't need to go to a fancy, fancy. Fancy steakhouse where they're gonna charge you a $100. For a steak, you just need to go to Nanuet restaurant, it Was melt in your mouth, cooked perfectly and had the best flavor of a steak I think i've ever had. No offense peter luger's and I think you have competition. And my sides were mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus which were perfect.
