Listen I am a panera fan. I spend alot of money in panera stores as a whole. If another customer spotted a roach crawling and Im seeing it this means they dont care about their problem and thats disgusting. Not all paneras have roaches but this is not okay. Im not sure who the manager is but once you got one theres more and it means someone could have brought it in. EXTERMINATE. okay now after reading these reviews this particular location needs to be shut down.

They always get my order wrong everytime, at times it feels like they do it on purpose . I dont even know why i go throught the selections of NO PEPPERS if they dont even follow them. It's disappointing because they will remake it for you, but I don' have the time to wait.

I am sorry I did not go to the Panera location in Northvale, NJ. I came to get my soup I. Nanuet because I live in Rockland at 6 pm today. The portions are dsmal. I got the broccoli & cheese soup and the mac & cheese. They gave me 1/4 cup Mac. with 3/4 vup of soup. Without shame, it charged me $17.00. I know there's inflation, but this is unbelievable. I get full servings in Tarrytown, NY, and Northvale, NJ. I guess my support for hometown Panera is done. I'll never go back to this one.

I stopped into this Panera Bread recently, and overall the experience was decent, earning a solid three stars from me. Panera is usually one of those places you go to when you want something quick, warm, and a little healthier than typical fast food, and this location mostly delivered on that. I ordered a You-Pick-Two, which is usually my go-to, and the temperature of the food was on point. The broccoli cheddar soup tasted fresh and had that classic creamy flavor Panera is known for. The sandwich I paired with it was well-made, but it could have used just a little more filling to really make it satisfying.

The service was friendly but felt a bit slow even though it wasn’t very crowded. The staff was polite and helpful, but the wait for my order was longer than expected for a place that focuses on fast-casual dining. The dining area itself was mostly clean, though a few tables needed wiping down, likely from the rush before I arrived. The atmosphere had Panera’s usual cozy feel—warm lighting, fresh bread smells, and a calm environment that works great for relaxing or getting some work done.

Not a bad visit at all—just room for improvement.

Panera Bread Without Butter
So we’re at Panera Bread in Nanuet and ordered soup and 2 salads and it comes with bread. I asked them for butter. The guy said I have to get the manager. Manager came over and the guy said this lady wants butter. The manager says “we don’t give butter except for bagels” He said “it’s too expensive.” So after paying for $35 worth of food, he didn’t wanna give me any butter for my bread. Hence the name change. I’m talking about Panera in Nanuet. You can go to Woodcliff Lake and they’ll give you all the butter you want. It’s so funny. But also sad. You can call me Karen, but if you wanna eat Panera, go to Bergen County. PS I never give negative reviews but this was just wrong on every level.

I've been a loyal Panera member for six years and have visited countless locations. We had a 45-day job very close to this branch, so we came here for lunch every single day.
This place is an absolute disgrace and deserves a badge for being the single worst Panera Bread location I have ever experienced.
Because our time was always limited, we used the mobile app to order ahead. However, our orders were constantly wrong or had items missing. On one occasion, we found bacon in a vegetarian salad.
The worst incident was when an order wasn't even prepared. When we asked about it, we showed the staff the complete, confirmed order on the app—proof of purchase, the order number, the location, and all the items—and we still couldn't get our food.
At this location, you literally have to beg like a beggar to get the items you already paid for, even when everything is clearly printed on the receipt. It's completely unacceptable.

Came in for a quick coffee, quick it was. Coffee was hot fresh. Staff was friendly, special thanks to Israel for customizing my daughters drink. Thank you for your attention and patience.

I’ve been to this Panera a few times. However, one lunch visit completely changed my mind. It was lunchtime, I was already getting hangry, and somehow my order was messed up not once, not twice, but three times — by the manager, no less.

I ordered the You Pick Two, asking specifically for a half sandwich and salad. First, I got a soup and sandwich combo I didn’t order. Second attempt? Still wrong — and a vegetarian sandwich I never asked for. It took about 30 minutes just to finally get the correct meal.

At that point, my hunger was gone, but my confusion wasn’t. Maybe a little retraining for the staff (and manager) would go a long way.

It seems like food portion keeps getting smaller and smaller. I remember when the paninis were huge and now its as big as my fist (i have small hands)

Today’ was the worst the chicken bacon rancher chicken was good cheese not melted and to top it off ranch every where!!! Cold sandwich $18 in the garbage just disgusting

What’s the point of eating here if they are out of greens, tomato and avocado for my sandwich? I got a meat and bread sandwich, it’s just not the reason I eat at Panera. I hope this was a one off problem and not something that happens again. Otherwise I’ll find another place to dine. I’ll add, they could’ve offered a coupon or something to make up for their problem, they didn’t.
