The coffee here was good (definitely better than Starbucks!)- but SO EXPENSIVE - even compared to NYC. A large latte was I think like $8. The bill was over $15 for two drinks. Not sure this is necessary.

Service here was great, but the coffee just did not hit. Tasted burnt and too much syrup.

Im extremely particular with my coffee, Ive been to hundreds of coffee shops and NO ONE has ever made me a cup of coffee that Ive truly enjoyed. except for the coffee that Ethan makes at Roastd in Nanuet. I order an iced caramel latte with half and half, and every detail about his craft is perfect! 10/10 the only coffee i buy!

Fantastic coffee. The service was great and the coffee even better. Staff is knowledgeable about different types of coffee and gave great suggestions. The decaf is also Swiss Water Decaffeinated which is a great find.

A great coffee bar in a good location. I stopped in and got a freshly brewed decaf coffee. It was prepared quickly and I didn’t need to speak a foreign language. There are tables and wi fi available and the area is clean. One of the best coffees I’ve had. Friendly staff. All around great and there are reserved spots to park.

I was in the area running errands on my way home and wanted to stop in a local non-franchise coffee shop and because I lived in Rockland County for a decade of my life and so it’s nostalgic for me, but this was not at all the experience I was expecting nor looking for. I walked in at 4:30PM on the dot and the establishment closes at 5PM. There was literally no one in the coffee shop aside from the two people sitting beside the barista bar area who clearly knew the barista; of whom I assume was the owner, but can’t confirm because the lack of professionalism was giving new hire. That said, I had a major wifi issue and needed to connect to their wifi and asked the employee if they had wifi I could connect to? And he literally responded saying “Right in front of you.” And looking downward in front of the register. I had just gotten a new debit card and needed to ensure it was unlocked before attempting to use it and it be declined for a transaction and the same would apply for my Apple Pay as well. This employee was visibly annoyed. Again, unprofessional and all the while I was the only person providing this business, business. At this hour. Adding insult to injury; when my order was finally completed, instead of said employee handing it to me at the register like a decent and civilized human-being and professional at that because we’re referring to a business transaction, no. Instead, said employee proceeds to leave my order at the opposite end of the barista bar area and announce it loud as if I was in a packed Starbucks (where I should’ve went and wouldn’t have experienced this in the first place). No “Thank you,” nor “Have a nice rest of your day,” etc. I exited in disbelief that I had to endure that for a $10.00 cup of coffee that is comparable to McDonald’s, at best.

P.S. I’m literally sitting in front of the business storefront as we speak while writing this in my parking spot after getting my manicure at Eden Nail Spa across the street because I refuse to leave this parking lot without posting this review.

Sign on the window says “Join our team,” “Hiring Barista.” Well, I can see why because if said person was simply a “Barista,” then they need to be fired immediately and replaced with someone whose capable of conducting themselves in at least a civil and tolerable manner in a professional setting. And if that was in fact the owner; well, stop being cheap and hire yourself quality baristas who will handle your business with the care that you should be doing yourself and stay yourself at home.

Roast’d is such a gem. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and skilled baristas. Their iced latte and other espresso drinks are unmatched in flavor. Their pour over is also very good. They even have delicious naturally processed decaf. The shop is always clean and welcoming, with a variety of tables and a couch area for different group sizes. The prices are on par with specialty roasters in New York City, but then again so are Starbucks prices these days. I’d choose Roast’d ten times out of ten for the quality, ambience, and top-notch service, not to mention the opportunity to support a small local business.
