Bakery layout is terrible why is everything spaced out on 3 different counters. Bakery workers are extremely rude and all just yell NEXT at you. God forbid you don't know what you want the millisecond you walk in. And then they roll their eyes when they realize you want to see what's behind all the counters first. No one asks if then need help or have any questions. Never again and honestly the desserts did not even look that good

Love it here as it is not only a memory for me but also they do have great bread and pastries. I have to disagree that their bagels are good... they are not in my families opinion. They are more or less "bread bagels" they just are not like traditional bagels in the area. We love to get their seeded rye bread and they will slice it at the counter upon request. Also recommend their kaiser rolls. We also like their deli, they really understand when you request deli meat sliced thin, they sure slice THIN! Lol, that is essential for us. No thick slabs of coldcuts! Also, we really like their chinese cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and I like their pastries, like their rugelach. Also, they offer a senior discount, I believe its over 60 years old but I forget. Yes customer service could use improvement but I don't have high expectations being so close to the city. I highly recommend.

There's a reason why this bakery has been in business for over 40 years. They produce great baked goods at very reasonable and affordable prices. Bagels, rolls, cookies, and cakes are always fresh as can be and delicious.
However, some of their pastries like cheese danish is hit & miss. They get left out in the open air all day, so they tend to get dry and stale by the afternoon and night.
Customer service is also hit & miss. Some employees are nice, patient, and helpful. Others are dismissive, inattentive, and can even be rude.
Loved everything. Just felt like staffs were little rude. It would be great if they change their attitude.

Bread is excellent! Kind of wished they had sausage and pepperoni bread But what I do HATE THE MOST is NO PRICES ANYWHERE !!!!! Seems Shady to me and they are NOT the friendliest behind the counter First time there and will not go back

Best Bakery across the East Coast and one of the main attractions of Rockland County. Get there early and have a chance to smell fresh baked goods. Can't go wrong with the variety of pastries and baked goods they offer. The main room has been renovated to be more brighter and bigger.
