Came for a birthday lunch (mine!) with my parents and son. Went to the bar to order drinks and food, but the food we ordered never came. My parents received their food in a timely manner, but 20 minutes after they finished I went to the bar to get a refill and inquire about the rest of the food. Was told that ‘we ordered a lot of food’ and ‘wings take a long time’. I agreed but not this long. Another 10-15 minutes go by and we’re then informed by the kitchen that that part of the order was never put in the POS…what?! Asked how much longer it was going to be and was told the food hadn’t even been started yet! No, ‘ I’m sorry, can we do anything to make this right?’ Just lies. Then, I found out after the fact they gave my parents drink chips to make up for it..huh? Make it make sense. As a patron that has frequented this place for over 30 years, I’m sad to say I won’t return. If this place survives it’ll be a miracle. Don’t bother going if you’re not a local and/or regular, you won’t be served.

Was looking forward to going back and trying it now with new ownership. We don’t frequent bars often but after our work day we thought stopping in would be a nice change and give us a chance to try things out and look at menu changes….all that would’ve been great IF WE HAD BEEN WAITED ON WHILE SITTING AT THE BAR! Nope! Finding a game on the TV right in front of us, cleaning off popcorn baskets from a couple empty seats, talking to regulars, and folding some silverware were all way more important than asking what we wanted to drink. But hey, at least she said hi after completely ignoring us for a couple minutes I guess. We finally walked out. There’s no reason at all why she couldn’t have said “hey guys, I’ll be with you in just a minute” or something….but I guess since we aren’t regulars it doesn’t matter much. The lack of response by ownership on previous poor reviews tells me that they possibly don’t care much either….especially since all the poor reviews carry almost the exact same theme.
NOTE: It was NOT busy at all. Maybe 7 people at the bar and 3-4 tables seated and already served. Nothing compared to how we’ve seen it before; to the point where I would say that this lack of service is inexcusable on every level. If the owners read this and want to look at camera footage so you know I’m not just saying something negative for the hell of it, here are the details for you. Hopefully tourist season treats this place well because fall and winter may become pretty dry if service like this continues. As a local business owner in a customer service driven field, service like this really chaps my ass. If we ever go back and have a totally different experience I’ll be more than happy to change my review.

Why is this place closed down now? I wanted to stop in for lunch today and found out it's been closed for a while. Sad to find out I use to come play pool with friend in high school here. Always great place and great food
