Roots cafe is a gem.
An eclectic atmosphere with a spirited service staff who has a passion for delivering local food.
I typically get the burger.
This evening, i went for the special dish, the pork chop, and it didn't disappoint.
Freshly sliced, moist on the inside with a crisp exterior. The risotto was cooked to perfection, with enough fluff to absorb the pork broth.

Roots prepare food using high quality, fresh and local ingredients. Typically, places like that are pricey and serve small portions. The portions were large and the price reasonable.
The brussel sprout hash was unique and delicious. It's rare for a serving to be so large I can't finish it. This one best me.
My wife had the Greek polenta. It balanced a variety of flavors and textures.

Additionally, in spite of being quite busy (the grape festival was going on) service was quick and attentive.
Also, lovely ambiance and the restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful vineyard…....
