El Patron Restaurant Bar and Grill

OMG! The food was sooo good! Don’t sleep on this family owned restaurant. The service is warm, like you went to eat at your abuela’s house. My family of four ordered the skirt steak, the steak with shrimp, beef tacos, and the bone-in ribeye. All were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The tres leches dessert brought a smile to my husband’s face. Definitely stop by El Patron!

An absolute pleasure dining at El Patron tonight. This place is a hidden treasure. The drinks were outstanding as you can see below, they tasted as good as they look and were carefully crafted in such a way that you would expect for a truly high end establishment. I could stop the review here and tell you that the extremely varied collection of craft cocktails was mind blowing enough, especially given the price point, but then the food arrived. Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious, the tacos, the taco salad, and the mofunguitos were all incredible. The meat was juicy and tender both chicken and beef. The dishes were well presented as you can see, and the taste was something that I could believe my mother would make. Truly outstanding home cooked quality. The bartender was excellent and provided recommendations for cocktails based on your preference and even made us his very own cocktail which was not on the menu and it was impeccable.TLDR: Get yourself inside this place and make sure you're hungry.

Carlos and Alex are wonderful! The food is so delicious and can't wait to see much more for their business! Loved the chicken burrito, the rice and beans have excellent flavor! They definitely work hard and deserve all the best for their restaurant! Definitely sending more customers to them!

I called to place a pickup order the lady answered the phone with just with hello, placed my order made my way there walked in the lady behind the bar was having a conversation with the man infront of her, I sat down waited she didn't looked at me once five minutes passed a few more after that still she didn't acknowledged that I was there so I left

We sampled several appetizers and had dinner. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable.

Nice little hole in the wall place for locals. This is not the same El Patron we know of. We thought it was part of a franchise. We loved the El Patron on Northern Blvd in Queens. The decor and menu there was a lot better.The staff here was friendly but there's a language barrier. Ordering a diet coke and a seltzer with lemon = no diet coke, a glass of Jack and coke and a seltzer with lemon juice.Food was good.

Some of the best Tacos on the Island. Everything is fresh. Great service. Can't wait to go back and try more. This is a local, family owned place any neighborhood would be lucky to have. Keep up the good work!

Just wanted to take the time to share my amazing experience on Sunday night. Randomly strolled on Sunday for 1 drink and had such a great time ended up having 3 rounds 2 apps and 2 entrées. Definitely will be back again when the place is a little busier.
