I do believe we have ordered almost everything on the menu the last few years. A frw favorites, pernil sandwich, tacos are traditional and yummy, chimichangas are spectacular and it's a fun word to say :) , any empandas. Always get extra Aji sauce if you like to give your taste buds a spicy thrill. As the old saying goes, you can pour that stuff on an old shoe and eat it.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this gem in Nesconset since they first opened, but recently I found myself craving something I hadn’t enjoyed in years—a Kibbe. It wasn’t on their menu, but I decided to take a chance and ask if they could make it. The owner told me to give her a few days, and true to her word, she reached out to let me know she had crafted her version and wanted me to come in and try it. Let me say this—she absolutely nailed it. The Kibbe was outstanding.
Impressed, I placed a catering order for a Labor Day party that following Monday. Once again, the owner exceeded expectations—not only were the flavors of the Kibbe and empanadas top-notch, but I later learned she had actually opened the store specifically to fulfill my order. That level of customer service is almost unheard of today.
The catering spread was a hit; every guest raved about the food and several said they plan to order from Empanadas and More themselves in the future. From my experience and theirs, this is more than just a local spot—it’s a place that delivers excellence, passion, and true care for its customers.

We ordered takeout and got home to find the entire order was wrong — only one item was correct. They apologized and delivered the right food, but it somehow got worse.
They gave me $50 back, then handed me a new bill for $44 because we were apparently overcharged. Confusing and unprofessional.
The “correct” food was awful — dry, inconsistent, and looked worse than the wrong order. The rice was clearly scraped from the bottom of multiple pots, and the pork dish had less meat than the one we didn’t even order.
We called to share our disappointment and spoke to the owner, who said, “That’s how it’s served,” then hung up on us. We were so frustrated we drove back to return the food — the owner didn’t say a single word.
At this point, we needed Gordon Ramsay to walk into the kitchen and shut it down. Between the food, the refund mess, and the rude, unprofessional service, we will not be back.
Family owned restaurant. It felt like we were eating back in Columbia. Food was delicious with large portions and flavors. The owners were very personable. We will be back soon!

I had the best experience with empanadas last week at the Grove City Food Truck Friday event. As a food truck owner myself I know when food is made with love and made authenticity. This food truck is taking me back to my childhood memories. The flavor of the food on this truck is absolutely amazing. My husband and I were absolutely mind blown. If you see this truck and it has a line it’s worth the wait. Don’t pass it up mis amores it’s truly amazingggggg 🫶🏼🩷🤤
