This place needs a complete overhaul of staff. They are extremely rude and unpleasant, especially the manager Kel. I just want to place an order without drama. Guess you have to go to Dos Toros all the way in Manhattan!

Do not go to this place. The manager along with the staff is very rude. As soon as you walk into this establishment, the staff looks upset as if you are disturbing them. Very weird experience for a take out place. If you ever have an issue and you bring it up to the manager she makes it even worst. She fights back with you.

They literally cut the portions of the burrito in half. The burrito is now the size of a Taco Bell burrito. When I asked why it’s so small the workers said they were told to make the portions smaller. To put it in perspective picture half the thickness of a chipotle burrito. Really bad decision on management’s part. I used to drive 15 min to get a burrito here once it opened as I used to love dos toros in Manhattan. Totally not worth it anymore.

My husband and kiddos recently visited Dos Toros Tacos in New Hyde Park, and unfortunately, their experience was far from pleasant. The staff was extremely rude and not friendly at all. It's very disheartening to see such poor customer service.
When you visit a place to enjoy a meal with your family, the last thing you expect is to be treated with such disrespect. It seemed like the staff hated their job, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. If someone is that unhappy and rude in their role, it makes you wonder why they're in a customer service position at all.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their customer service. Customers deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.

Upon entering there was a strange smell. The floors were incredibly slippery and oily. Staff was unfriendly and food was not tasty. The quesadilla is made with sliced American cheese and they had no cilantro. Meat was dry and overcooked. Decor looked like a bunch of left over stuff thrown into a room.
they have fresh ingredients but no seasoning or flavor i felt like i wasn’t eating just chewing

I don’t ever leave reviews but this was my third visit and I must be honest all three times I was greeted with unpleasantness. The first two times I gave the women the benefit of the doubt cause I said “ Well, people can be having a bad day”. But then the third and final time still again same attitude of “not wanting to help me but doing it cause I have to” attitude. Then proceeded to give me the last bits of overly dry old rice and the absolute last tiny amount of black beans?! And mind you it was only 5:45pm and the place closes at 9:30! Like I don’t get it?! Not sure if it’s a race thing, I really hope it’s not but yeah I’m done with this establishment. Chipotle is so friendly, just saying;) it’s not even worth 1 star
