Gino's Trattoria & Pizzeria of New Hyde Park

I came here to see what the hype was about for the garlic knot pizza and it did not disappoint! You definitely need to try it, if you haven’t already. I had an amazing time at this place. The staff was also super nice and welcoming. I also tried the dessert and it was to die for, along with the Cesar salad. I highly recommend this spot.

Love the food from this place always order for take out, I try to pick so I know it's fresh & delivered promptly to my table not cold or sitting in traffic give myself the approximate time to get my order ready so far never disappointed keep my salad away from the hot pizza boxso doesn't get wilted & I love their family take out offer it is great offer, the food is amazing penne a la vodka & chicken parm 😋.

We ordered the new Family Takeout Meal from Gino’s. It was delicious, reasonably priced, and it was enough to feed a family of 5 hungry people. It also came with a box full of Focaccia.
Great Job… will definitely order on those too tired to cook nights!

This was my first time visiting Gino’s Pizzeria, and the restaurant has two entrances, which I didn’t know. When I went to open the door, it was locked, and the locked door shook as I saw people eating inside. That was an embarrassing experience as there was no signage on the door stating to use the other door instead. Then, I went to the second door and picked up my margherita pizza. The staff was not so cordial or welcoming when I entered the door, so with my first experience, I will not be returning to this restaurant unless the customer service improves along with proper signage on the door.

Vegetarian options: They can make the margherita pizza without onions and garlic, but they are no other vegetarian options available. All the gelato sold there has eggs in them, so please be careful.

Parking: Regarding parking, it is best to park your vehicle a few blocks before the restaurant as this place has limited parking available. It is located near a busy street and has congested traffic daily. When I went, I had to park 3 to 4 blocks away from the restaurant in order to just pick up my pizza order!
