I’ve stopped by this place a handful of times over the past year, and honestly, it’s gone downhill fast. What really pushed me to write this review is the clear disregard for basic cleanliness and employee wellbeing.
I’ve seen a rat more than once running around inside the store inside, not outside the store and it wasn’t subtle. What’s disturbing is that the owner was present during at least one of these incidents and didn’t seem phased at all. No one cleaned anything, the store stayed open, and business just kept going like nothing happened. That’s unacceptable.
Also, I can’t help but feel uncomfortable seeing that nearly all the workers are very young girls, many of whom appear to be minors. It’s not inherently wrong, but the fact that it’s mostly young female staff managed by one adult man with no clear structure or other supervision just doesn’t sit right with me. It’s weird, and I’m not the only customer who’s noticed.
Bottom line: this place isn’t clean, and it doesn’t feel safe or professionally run. I won’t be coming back.

Good bakery, good selection . Italian pastries. Fair price
I needed a cake for my god son’s first birthday. I knew nothing about cakes and I wasn’t sure what kind to get. I gave them my idea and they brought it to life ! Everyone loved it. It was amazing !!!
I ordered my mom’s 60th birthday cake over the phone and i am very satisfied with everything. The baker is so talented. The service is wonderful. And the cake tasted great! This is my family’s go to bakery and I have never had a complaint. Also, always love their cookies!
Friendly neighborhood bakery with many choices.
Poor customer service. I had to call so many times to place a cake order. Every time I called the girl put me on hold, because there are no one to take a cake order. So after multiple attempts, I was able to speak to the chef and place the order. I requested the chef to make it fresh but the taste wasn't good and she didn't do the icing with the name on it. It was a birthday cake. I wonder where is the management? I was there regular client not anymore.
I tried 5 different things. They were all good but the jelly filled donut stole the show! That jelly has levels to it. The flavor starts out nice but then it surprisingly kicks into another gear. The danish was almost as good as the jelly donut. It’s good in its own way. Definitely will return for the both of those. I also tried an apple turnover, banana walnut muffin, as well as a raisin bread. The pastry part of all of them was good and tasty. I didn’t try it yet but they have sugar free options. Overall, everything was good. If you’re in the area give them a try.

Delicious pastries!!!
The most unprofessional bakery I’ve ever worked with I called to have a cake made they rushed me off the phone I had to remind her to take my name and number down, they said they would have my wife’s birthday cake done the next day and when I arrived the next day they had no idea what I was talking about and said the worker never communicated my order to the baker. Didn’t even give me a call or anything drove 45 minutes definitely would not recommend.
My sweet grandparents always come into this shop to buy a ring cake. The employees pass the cake off as fresh when it is stale and breaking apart, like it is days old. Really nice to do to customers in their 90s. You should be ashamed. We had to throw the whole cake out because it was so stale. Don’t pass things off as fresh when they are stale and disgusting .

Peet's coffee in Dunkin & Starbucks heartland!!
That drew us in for a breakfast bite. Apart from coffee, we settled for toasted, buttered croissant, cheese puff, coffee cake. All spot on. Latter two delicately sweetened, in keeping with times. We'd have preferred coffee cake to be little more moist.
The place attracted a steady stream of regulars; all helped by Ali & Fiona with friendly alacrity (even helped us by heating milk for coffee).
Seemed like they bake breads in small batches. Also had an assortment of cookies, cupcakes, mousse, pastries, tarts, eclairs, cakes and, of course, New York Cheesecake.
In an increasingly online world, they need to move away from a generic, nondescript website (that just does not do justice to ready for takeaway goodies); to a more available-here-and-now menu from what is already on shelving.

Picked up a cake for my aunt that she ordered ahead of time. The owner was quite friendly and offered to dress it up a bit more for a 30th birthday, but I assured her my aunt had a Topper, which she did. The cake was half and half chocolate rasp and vanilla custard. It was delightful. I had 2 pieces and typically don't really eat cake. I highly recommend this lovely shop.
