Called to make a reservation but nobody picked up. Walked in 5 minutes before iftar and they said they were full. There were so many empty tables and we were only 2 people. They didn’t even offer us alternatives like a date & water to break our fast or take out option. What kind of Muslim business is this? We called jazeera at iftar time and they picked up even though it would have been understandable if they didn’t. They said they will make room for us. Now that is a truly Muslim business. I will never come to eat at sunshine and take my business to places that welcome us to break our fast.

So I ordered online for Iftar at around 6.50 pm & reached the restaurant at around 6.15 pm. They tell me they haven't received the order online. I have the order number, the receipt & obviously my credit card has already been charged. Now they are asking me to wait. I don't know whether they will be able to serve me iftar and I can take it home in due time for others.

I recently discovered this restaurant with a few friends and we absolutely love it. We came here for iftar and everything was delicious. There were so many items to choose from including butter chicken, bhindi, rice and many appetizers. The chai is also very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service is excellent as well. A few days later we returned for sehri and everything was on point. The ambiance is very pretty and cozy with beautiful decorations. 10/10.

Amazing experience. Me and my family came for the iftaar buffet last night and food was on point. This morning me and my friends went to the sehri buffet and it was fire, Sunshine doesnt miss! We needed a good zabiha certified restaurant on long island and we finally got it. Definitely will be coming back.

We came with a group of 70 people for sehri, honestly not a single thing was compromised. Food was fresh and hot and service was on point. Management made last second seating accommodations. Definitely recommend for a family gatherings.

We ordered pani puri, gobhi manchurian and more and everything was delicious. Very fresh. Their masala soda is a must try. Atmosphere was amazing and service was excellent.

I was very optimistic about going to this restaurant. I read really good reviews and menu sounded very appetizing. Unfortunately, when we got our food, the it was way below the standard. I’ve had better desi food at home and other restaurants. The workers started to rearrange and clean all the tables while we were eating and were ready to close.

Went to sunshine with some friends and we had a great time! Music was good and the food was presented traditionally. Our server Menzi was very helpful and welcoming, she gave us menu recommendations. Chicken tikka masala was a hit!
