Jonathan's Restaurant

Decent food.. unfriendly waiter. Look everyone has a bad day, but with food cost a small part of your meal, the wait should be warm, polite, and well mannered. Our waiter was short, almost rude. He barely greeted us, engaged in zero friendly conversation, and seemed visibly annoyed. There was no unusual requests or complaints or behaviors we are c aware of that could have caused this. Yea, everyone has a bad day but when your role is a waiter, and you expect a minimum 20% tip, your customers deserve better.

We eat at Jonathon's often. They never disappoint! Every dish is well prepared and delicious. The service is always friendly and prompt.

The owners and staff are always on point and the food is consistent and not too expensive.

We sat in the lounge area, which is near the bar, the bartender Gary was also our server. The service, food and drinks were very good.  

we went there for restaurant week and for two of us there were great menu options, but for one of us who is a vegan there was no vegan options and had to order from the regular menu. Everything was great, but vegan options on the restaurant week menu would have been preferred.

We have been coming here for more than 25 yrs and we have never ever had a bad meal or bad service! Top notch ! The restaurant week menu was wonderful and a bargain during these stressful times! If they could keep a price fixe menu as a regular feature we could come more often! By far our favorite restaurant and best of LI , best of NY !!!

Very down to earth brunch place. Food is excellent and deco is comfortable. Family gathering noisy and warm holiday spirits.

Superb food and service. I've been dining here for over a decade as it is perfect for family gatherings and celebration.

I have never had a bad experience at Jonathan's - their menu has so much to offer, the service is impeccable, and everyone always enjoys themselves. And the freshly redone restrooms looked amazing!

The ambience is nice, however the food was just okay in my opinion. I had a Jumbo Shrimp dish that came with potatoes, and broccoli. The shrimp were a little over cooked for my liking... it was just a mediocre meal.

First time trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The appetizers were delicious and the steak was absolutely amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Definitely planning to come back!
