The FOH staff is very kind at this location but the cooks in the back do not understand what proper portion sizes are. I’m vegan and had to heavily modify a burger that I was already paying $12 for, so I paid extra for mushrooms on it. I received a laughably small amount for the $1.17 it was worth. Three little slivers of mushrooms on a burger. It wasn’t even a busy lunch rush at the time so there’s no excuse in my mind. Customers are not going to come back to locations that are stingy with already expensive food items. Sincerely, a hungry mushroom lover

All in all great place, good food. I went to the store and the same person that helped me at the register removed my number. I thought that was odd since the restaurant was empty.The fried brussel sprouts are surprisingly good.

When ever i go to Smashburger the staff . Is so good. Very helpful when ordering your food . And always a pleasure to deal with ! New Hyde park !! Management team you are doing a great job!!Kid-friendliness: I think they should have more kid friendly things for the kids when they dine in. And upgrade the menu for them
For a first time visit to smashburger, the food was very good, however a little overpriced. Nelly, the lady that took my order was very kind and professional.

Looks like a nice place, but not one person was wearing a hairnet. This is required by the department of health. I personally don't want to eat anybody else's hair in my food. The hamburgers are OK.
My brothers and I have been dining here over the last couple years, the food, service and cleanliness are excellent. One time, we had a group of nine, and we placed our order, and it was timely served. However, one-quarter of the order was wrong. We asked and spoke to the manager. She, listened and rectified the wrong part of our order. All nine of us, left the store, more than satisfied.

Wow what a bad meal. My husband didn't even finish his burger which was a first. The burgers were not tasty, very strong fatty flavor. It was actually hard to eat, such a disappointment after spending $40+ on burgers. The onion rings were way over cooked, too hard and crispy which you can tell from the picture. Only enjoyable item was the milk shake. The food is not good!
