Last weekend we held our daughter's Sweet 16 at The Inn at New Hyde Park in The Gable room and the evening exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail from the Maitre D' (JC), Suite Attendant (Rehnya), Service Staff & Event Planner (Bernadette) made the best possible team for bringing our daughter's dream come true. The food, drinks and overall atmosphere was amazing. The kindness & patience we experienced from the Sales Manager (Felix) during the booking process was exceptional. And their vendor recommendations were spot on, bringing the entire event together for an unforgettable evening.

I hosted my husband's 50th birthday at the Inn at NHP and could not have been happier with the evening. We booked the Table 7 space, which I highly recommend.Planning the event was done almost exclusively by email, which was convenient for me. The team was easy to work with, responsive to my questions and also afforded me flexibility with the menu where I wanted to incorporate some additional vegetarian options.The night of the event went off without a hitch. Terry was our maitre d' and she was excellent. Would recommend requesting her! Our bartenders were top notch and the staff were courteous and professional as well.The food was delicious and displayed beautifully as a buffet, along with passed hors d'oeuvres.The space was perfect for what we were looking for - an informal, laid-back lounge-like environment. The bar is spacious and the decorations (done by Just Delightfull, a preferred vendor of The Inn) were beautiful.I genuinely could not have been happier with every aspect of the event.

I would not recommend to this place.3 women who attended a Sweet 16 party got killed by a drunk driver, and it was horrifying.Go to Jericho Terrace for a Quinceañera party instead.

I attended a party here a month ago. Everything was great, from the valet parking to the coat check. Even the drinks at the bar were good. The food was actually questionable. The best tasting dishes were the cream spinach and the mashed potatoes. The other food options were either hard or dry. I gave a 3 star for everything else but the food was definitely a thumbs down.
My family has had many wonderful experiences here at this venue as we have been attending the All Academy Ball event every year for 5 years total. The All Academy is the 5 service academies therefore it's a Military Ball honoring the young men and women who will serve our country. The one star is for the dishonesty of the Valet working that night. We had $25 in winning lottery tickets we were going to cash in stuck in the visor. When I went to cash them in, they were gone. So sad!
