Umberto's Of New Hyde Park

Long wait for mediocre food. In a restaurant that was half empty, and with seeming adequate staff, we waited 45 minutes for our entrees. The food was not worth the wait. The staff was lovely and the ambiance very nice and the on-site parking was welcome. Except for the service and the food, this is a nice place.

We had 6 kids in our group. The food, service and value were terrific! Thanks to an attentive staff we were very well looked after! See you again very soon!

I had the Vodka chicken, cutlet, and vodka sauce penne. My son had the lasagna and my husband had the chicken cutlet Parmesan . All three dishes were delicious Our servers paid so much attention to us. We had a wonderful experience.

Walked in expecting a pizza place.... Got a damn 5 star experience in the back.... Take that how you want it

Great service! Accommodated my autistic child with a corner booth. He has sensory issues and the team was very caring and thoughtful.

I've been going here for decades. It is mind boggling that despite the growth, it has maintained the same dedication to excellence. I still recall watching the owner make the mozzarella cheese in the basement of the restaurant. Same freshness. One last thought : I'm a vegan and had an amazing meal. Insane bang for your buck.

Met a friend for lunch, it was perfect. No rush, food was good. A lunch menu would have been a plus..hint hint

Our waiter Miguel was excellent. Managed our party of 11 perfectly. As always, the manager Chi Chi was outstanding . We love coming here. Food and service great. !!!

Once again we had an amazing meal at Umberto's! Kudo's to the manager of the restaurant, who makes a real effort to treat his customers special, going out of his way to be accommodating!

Ordered pizza as usual, never showed up, called and they were very rude with no response to why it was taking so long. Lost my business along with my family and friends 🤬

Horrible .. called in food
. Got there. And they didn't even put in the order yet! Pizza regular slices were cold only in the center when served.. ordered a hero veal... they brought it to the table wrong... my company then ordered calamari and it tasted disgusting... manager there on a Saturday was an idiot... besides the register girl... can't type enough how disappointing this location was ...and all.in the same visit!
