Heads Up..!! This place is a joke!

The menu advertises draft beer, but they actually serve you canned beer at draft prices. You’re being overcharged, plain and simple. That’s a ridiculous practice.

Get meal and service. It is obvious why they have been around for 60 years. Surprisingly good Italian food in a rural location. Be sure to try the signature fresh baked popovers too.

$130 check for 2+told extra appetizer, to go, didn't come with popover ($3.50 extra). Food very average. Duck better in a good Asian Restaurant.

All of the wait staff were very helpful to one another, but the bar and kitchen took too long. Had to ask for the bread and then their beans (which are fantastic!).

It was a great find near the border between New York and Massachusetts. The dishes were pleasantly prepared and delicious. The dessert utilizing fresh peach was a must try when available. Everyone here was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you!

We went to Mario for our anniversary on a Thursday night, we arrived at 4:00 p.m. and there were plenty of tables available. They started us out with Italian bread with butter and delicious white bean salad. Next game the hot popovers that were fabulous, then for the main course, I had chicken Oscar which was fabulous, breaded chicken covered with a burgundy and hollandaise sauce, lobster pieces and asparagus. Also included in the plate were carrots, broccoli and roasted potatoes. My wife enjoyed a delicious eggplant parm with pasta. The chocolate mouse cake for dessert was decadent ! Great dinner!

I always look at the menu and prices before choosing where I will eat. There was only one handicap space out front and it was taken. Prices on line seemed reasonable on line. Being local we didn't make reservations, which was frowned upon, but, the 3 of us were seated. Katlyn was our server and very pleasant the entire dinner. The pop overs that they serve are piping hot and delish. We did not have a wait between each coarse, Perfect timing. I was however shocked at the price difference from their on line menu to what the bill totalled. A $10. Price difference per meal increase was a bit unexpected. The food was great but if they are going to charge more, perhaps an update to the on line menu should be considered. I like to know prices before I choose where to eat. For the 3 of us it was over $200. Including the tip. There was a $65. Difference that I had not expected. I would recommend the restaurant even though it's pricey.
