Ducktown Restaurant has such delicious food and the people are very kind and welcoming! Such great food - We love their homemade pizza, meatballs, chicken francese, calamari, poison tacos and especially any specials made by Chef Alex. For example, the Corned beef and cabbage on St Patrick’s day was excellent!! A really convenient and clean restaurant to go to for lunch, dinner, drinks, desserts. A+++

Only took off 1 star because there's nothing on tap. Pizza is homemade from scratch in a proper pizza oven and DELICIOUS! Service is friendly and feels like home in the best of ways. Karaoke Thursday nights 7-10 PM, kind host and supportive, enthusiastic crowd!Parking: No spots in the small lot? Park next to the fence all along the block!

I had the opportunity to taste left over pizza with guacamole from Ducktown Restaurant. I visited a friend's house in Dutchess unexpectedly and she offered me the slice. It was more than finger licking good. It was utterly delicious. Next time I'm visiting, I'm taking a couple of friends along to taste the menu. From what I hear from my friends the rest of their menu is as good as the left-over pizza; I can't miss being a hit with my other friends from NYC on a night out for dinner at Ducktown Restaurant. Had to go and find out for myself, the food is delicious, delectable, awesome, a gastronomical infusion of flavors. If there is a night you just want to eat out you have to try Ducktown Restaurant 246 Walsh Ave New Windsor, NY 12553 or try their takeout- try the pizza with avocado it's just delicious. The service was great as well. It's a husband & wife combo trying to make a living and they do a great job at getting you the food you want to eat or drink. The ambiance is family style thus you can even take the kids out with you for a wonderful dinner out. The ambiance is what I call professionally dressy, classy, yet simple; GREAT for a date night out, to impress your mate, partner, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend or wife. The food is awesome. The diversity in the food menu is fantastic to please all types of people including Caucasians & Latinos(Cubans, Colombians, Peruvians, Puerto Ricans, etc). Almost forgot to mention if eating heart healthy like the American Heart Association suggests try DuckTown Restaurant in New Windsor, NY. Try them on kareoke night- have fun and good food. Their prices are very reasonable. Book them for catering or the hall to celebrate sweet sixteen or any special event. I hope the areas residents, home owners, businesses take advantage to support a new Business Owner in the neighborhood and have a great delicious meal as well.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Newburgh-New Windsor area. We had a large group dinner at this restaurant and all of us were amazed by the food. The owners are very nice and hospitable. They have a beautiful clean restaurant with very pleasant professional employees. The food was awesome and so delicious, I highly recommend the Surf and Turf dinner, Poison Tacos, and the Crab Cakes. The bartender serves the best drinks in town especially the martinis. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

What a find.A family owned and operated restaurant. The owners, Chef Alex, (yes a chef, not a line cook) and his adorable wife Ileana, who is the bartender hostess and waitress, make you feel truly welcomed. Now the food. The menu is eclectic from Poison Tacos to Chicken Picatta . Burgers, salads etc. AND in my humble opinion, perhaps the nicest pizza around.Do not link this with the old Ducktown Tavern, not in the same league or planet.Give it a try. Prices are very reasonable also

We stopped by this place on the way back to New York City from lake Minnewaska. This is a lovely family run establishment offering a wide range of American style fare and a mix of Mexican, Italian and Spanish food. There was a very lovely and cozy looking bar right at the entrance and a lot of restaurant space and an adjacent party space which the owner said he was planning to convert to a billiards room.We ordered black beans rice and shrimp, and a burrata cheese salad.Shrimp and black bean with rice was just out of this world. The owner explained to use that it was a traditional family recipe.I would definitely go here again when I am in the area. Don’t miss it if you are nearby.

First time trying out Duck Town. Called first to see if they were open due to it being Labor Day, and a lot of places were either closed or closing early. They said yes, they were open. I arrived around 4:15p, was Duck Town Inn walked to my table right away by Lilliana. She was very polite and helpful in assisting me with the menu and recommendations. Feels good to enjoy everything you ordered from beginning to the end. good. I enjoyed everything from beginning to end. The chef/owner, Alex, I believe, came out of the kitchen to greet me and to check if everything was ok and to my liking. Nice place and very welcoming. I definitely will return, and I highly recommend you give them a try.
