I had an absolutely fantastic time there The vibe here is nothing short of amazing and just the right mix of cozy and cool. Our server, Ashimaa delightful young lady, was an absolute gem. Her warm energy and attentiveness made the entire experience feel so special—she’s truly too good!The food? Out of this world! The whiting was a standout—perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and downright delicious. It’s clear they put love into every bite. Every detail, from the atmosphere to the service to the food, was on point. I can’t wait to come back for more of this incredible experience!

I am giving one star not because the food or something like that , but there was nobody was at the resturant serving today at 3:30pm ish when I reached there only the cleaning person was there. Today for the first time I rode there from queens to the resturant because lot of my rider friends reccomend me to try the food there. But I was very dishantened when I rode more than 80 miles to the restuerant and it was still closed way after the opening hours on a Monday. I even met a guy who also arrived 5 minutes after I reached and he is a local, and he told me whenever he chceked on the resturant It was always closed, and this has been happening for more than a month. It is very unprofessional and Impolite to not to mention that opeartion timings are irregular on the Hours section on google. Atleast I could have called to check up on the operation hours of the resturant before visiting the place, and not have wasted my time, Fish and Chikzz staff please look into this matter. Though I will visit later one day to try the food but not soon though because I live very far. Sorry for all the negativity, I was really frustated today when I saw the place was closed after I reached there, It felt like I rode there today for nothing.

I was gassed to try this place as I’m from the Bronx and I just came here and this the only place that’s looked good since I got here but the food was not like the reviews for me .
- Mac was like a white person made it out the box 2/10 - Shrimp tasted unclean & unflavored lacked spices 4/10 ( dip in sauce & it’s better added my own seasoning ) - whiting had 0 seasoning 2/10 - corn bread was probably the best part but 5/10 was sweet but really flaky
Soon as I opened my bag there was hair inside figured it came from whoever packaged the meal .
Overall I’m not sure if I’d try here again there’s literally only one thing I’d want which is red snapper but it’s almost $30 and for the quality I’ve seen so far not sure if it’s worth it . Disappointed to say I’d only order again if I’m ode hungry and got nothing else.

If you’re looking for the best place for fried seafood and fish, this is it! The red snapper and shrimp were absolutely excellent — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The hospitality and service made the experience even better, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit. We’re already looking forward to coming back many more times. Highly recommended!

Just moved in the area stop for takeout I had shrimp the fries the shrimp the slaw absolutely amazing 😍 I'm now an established customer the owners were great pleasant and the place felt like home very cozy ..
My daughter in law and I went this evening for an early dinner. The food was delicious!!! The owner is very personable which makes for a great dining experience. We were offered 1/2 and 1/2 (sweet tea/lemonade) and pumpkin spice cornbread straight from the oven and both were delicious! I ordered fried fish/crab cake with collard greens and mac and cheese. Again, finger licking good. My daughter in law on the other hand ordered fish, shrimp, collard greens, potato salad, yams, and Mac/cheese and then more cornbread to go…geezzz😂 Not one complaint about anything!!! We will be back ! Thank you Dexter and Karin for a wonderful dining experience.

Food wasn’t good I had fish combo fish wasn’t fresh and smelled like grease was old collard greens was watery and yams had a funny taste that was my first and last time going to that place I wasn’t impressed

Returning back home from another state and was looking for a good place to eat. I saw the reviews and the pictures and wanted to give them a try. Decided to try them for lunch. I went there at 11:30am on a Thursday. Website says open until 10:00 p.m. but both doors were locked and lights were off.. Very disappointing, called the phone number hoping they were setting up for lunch and just had the doors locked. No such luck and no answer.
