From arriving in front to park couldn’t help but notice poorly cared for rose bushes nearly dead and many weeds, the rest room was very dirty , no paper towels, paper on the floor and toilet paper broken since last time I was there! Seems like no one is aware of these issues and doesn’t seem to care what customers are seeing. Service has gone down so much over last few years … such a shame. Because it was once a very nice Restaurant with good service . Broccoli wasn’t cooked enough , the grated cheese I requested never arrived.

Wonderful service and food. We had the short ribs, rack of lamb and saffron risotto. All food delicious. Dessert was pistachio ricotta cake and almond cake, both loved by all. We will be back.
Today we went to the restaurant for the first time for my sister-in-law's birthday, the food was acceptable, the place super nice, but the waiter who served us, terrible service, he ignored my boyfriend 2 times when he was trying to give him his order, and at the end of the meal the waiter made a show for the tip, because he demanded the amount of tip that he wanted, my boyfriend gave it and then went with my sister-in-law's boyfriend to ask for more tip, I think that the tip should be voluntary for each client, not demand how much they want to charge or in all cases add it to the tip, I found it very unpleasant that he started putting on a show in front of the other clients and just for that reason my family and I will not go again, if I could give a star I would give -10 to the service.

Nice quiet place to have undoubtedly the best Penne Vodka in Orange County NY. The restaurant is elegant and clean.

La Casa Vicina hosted our 50th high school reunion tonight and everything was top notch from the food to the staff! Thank you!
We had our wedding ceremony and celebrated in the patio room. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was more than I had envisioned for our special day. 100/10 would recommend for any special occasion.

This family run business has great food and a great professional staff. Have known the owners for years, extremely friendly and inviting. They provide health portions and array of flavors. Try the Veal Chop!

I consider this place to be the best in the area. Food and cocktails were absolutely phenomenal. Service was top notch. The only reason I dropped the star for atmosphere was due to the sometimes loud party that took up half the space with dividers and a patron that thought it was ok to play some political videos out loud to his date. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend this establishment.

From the first sip of the house-made margarita to the last bite of churro, this place delivered a flawless Mexican dining experience. Every dish was bursting with fresh, bold flavors that transported us straight to the heart of Mexico.
We started with the chips and guacamole — warm, crispy chips paired with creamy, fresh guac made tableside with perfectly ripe avocados, lime, cilantro, and just a touch of heat. The salsa trio (roja, verde, and smoky chipotle) was the real deal — each one with its own punch and personality.
For mains, we tried the carne asada tacos and chicken enchiladas in mole sauce. The tacos were street-style perfection: charred steak, fresh onions, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime on soft corn tortillas. The mole was rich, complex, and clearly made from scratch — a balance of spice, chocolate, and warmth that takes real skill to get right.
The atmosphere was lively but not loud — colorful décor, upbeat Latin music, and a welcoming, family-style energy. Our server was kind, attentive, and knew the menu inside and out.
Dessert was a standout too — fresh churros, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, served with warm chocolate and caramel sauces. Absolutely divine.
This spot isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. Whether you're craving tacos, tamales, or a night out with friends, this place is it. Five stars without hesitation — ¡excelente en todo!
