This place used to be awesome. They changed ownership a few years ago and it was not the same. Gave it another try and it was confirmed…still weak.
We stopped in for the first time in quite a few years. After a long journey I was looking forward to the lumberjack sandwich. When I looked at the menu I can see that it was changed, I started to wonder if maybe the owners changed hands… I was correct in thinking that. My sandwich was not the amazing sandwich is used to be all those years ago. The owners seemed really nice but you can see that they were BUSY. However unfortunately we will not be back. I’m sure they have lots of good options but I used to eat there weekly. Coming back in hopes to have a flavor flashback did not go as expected. If they brought back the lumberjack the way the old owners used to make it I would be the first one in line. Until then… fare well to what used to be a staple for lunch.
Great variety of sandwiches, can be pricey for area; 2 people heroes, soda, bag of chips $39.+.
I ordered catering for a party. I spent over $400 on food. It was over a half hour late. The driver must have been flying around turns because the trays were all spilt. The delivery driver asked my guests to help him carry in the food. The meatballs were clearly frozen pre made, not made in house. I paid $65 for a half tray of chicken tenders for the kids and they didn't even fill the tray up. The chicken franchise was mushy and falling apart. I would not order catering from them again. Disappointing!
Decent food. Good prices. Recently I am updating this because I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and the food is just getting better and better. I was craving a southern breakfast and found biscuits and sausage gravy and this wonderful deli it was the best ever. You got to come to this place they treat you with kindness as a customer and the food is always delicious!
Enjoyed a Cuban and tiramisu. Both were great
I’m from the Bronx, I’m here in town visiting a friend of mine, I was so hungry I was driving by immediately stop, notice how busy this place was made me even more eager to order some food, got a bacon egg and cheese fresh. And all I can say is WOW !!!
Amen to more success in your business
Best place to get my coffee n bread in the morning
This is the only deli I’ve been to where there is literally barely any cold cuts they give you like 1 or pieces. I’ve never experienced this. I thought it was one time but went again and it’s the same thing it’s so thin

Employee.( older white guy, overweight, bald with a white beard): “ Hi sir. How can I help you? What you like?
Me: “ I’m not sure”
Employee: “ Would you like oxtails? ( he showed me Caribbean Daily Menu)
Me: “ Oh that’s interesting. (! It’s 9:50am.. why is he saying this). What made you think I like oxtails?”
Employee: “ Because I can smell the curry on you when you walked in”
Me: ( I walked right out)
I don’t know you. You don’t me and we aren’t cool like that we can make jokes… and you don’t deserve my business. PS… I’m not Jamaican but that is besides the point.

They charged me $10 for A Bai drink and a Taylor Ham single egg and cheese today. Ham was so thin could barely tell what it was. Never going back. RIP OFF.
