Chicken and rice was spicy otherwise it was good. The burger was ok. Very clean front dinner area. Would go back. Chicken and rice, burger combo with fries and a soda were $21 and change. The city of Newburgh put parking meters though. Plus the DOT NY bridge toll over Hudson river.

The food is good but the service could be better. I ordered food for delivery and when I came to pick it up part of the order was wrong. When I pointed this out, the person at the front counter said that my order was what I ordered. That seemed a bit unprofessional to me since I had partially ordered something else. I hope this improves.

Chicken and Lamb over rice is good but the service sucks I don't know why people open up businesses in the hood if they don't like the people that live here. I asked one of the guys who worked there to put my salad separate because it was for work and I would be eating it the next day and he said he can't do it. I explained that it had been done before and he offered to put it on a napkin. I ask if he could use the wax paper bag like last time. He then refused and said he can't do it, and then lied and said he didn't have any meat or rice for the platter. I don't understand why we continue to give these people our business if they don't want it.

First off, I used to go here all the time. The food is great, I have no complaints there. My problem is more so with the service.1) Multiple times they messed up my orders. They either gave me the wrong thing or things were missing from my order.2) A few times I went to get fried chicken, I was told I would have to wait over an hour to get it because they didn't have any prepared.3) Twice I went to get food only to be told that I couldn't get what I wanted because they decided to clean out the fryers. Mind you, this was in the middle of the day (around 1pm).4) They need consistency at the cash register. I could get the same things three different times & I would pay three different prices each time they ring me up.
