If you are newburgh, this place is a must. Omg the Kingston smoke drink is fire and the food is to die for. Order whatever. It's all amazing. Seabass, oxtail, falafel. Just show up. You won't regret it.

Visited with my friend today to celebrate her birthday. She wanted ethnic food from the Caribbean and bring that we are Jamaican 🤷🏾♀️ the staff that served us was very receptive and always respond to our needs before we ask. Food was good, it was a mixture of Jamaican/American flare. I will visit the Harriman site next. Be extremely aware that Newburgh has this ridiculous law that you have to drive in to the street parking space not backed in (no kidding). You’d think Newburgh would be more business friendly and not cause harm to restaurants like these that rely on parking on the street.

Restaurantji Recommends
Excellent jerk chicken. Some items on the menu is not the same as Monroe. The pepper shrimp is seasonal. I think they should make it permanent along with the veggie dumplings! But overall I would definitely recommend coming here. They also have a full bar which I will try in the future!

I’m extremely disappointed in this
Location I’ve come here 3xs, first time the restaurant was closed the next two times the menus are not as what’s presented on their instagram. While this place seems to have amazing potential. It’s very disappointing to drive 45mins away only to arrive and not have the options that are presented on the “menu”. Not only that the options of food are extremely limited due to the restaurant not being equipped for the menu that is presented in front of you. As I sit in the restaurant you can hear small chatter of disappointment from the all the guest how they weren’t able to have certain iteams because it’s not offered due to not being available! Big Big Big Disappointment!!!!
The wings were to die for omg, highly recommend. I also got the curry which was yummy!!
One of the best meals I’ve had since moving to the Hudson Valley. I had the fried rice with jerk chicken and shrimp, with a side of the plantains. I asked for hot sauce and when they brought it to me they warned me that it was really hot - and they were not lying - but also so deep in flavor!
Service is a little slow, but the food and the decor are incredible. Please visit soon you won’t regret it.

I’m writing this review as our party of 9 finishes our meal. We somehow managed to order nearly everything on the menu and although there wasn’t a resounding favorite, I can say we weren’t disappointed by anything, that’s for sure! A very unique blend of Jamaican, Asian, and American flavors across the menu, for a somewhat small menu (not a bad thing), there’s plenty to choose from! A good selection of cocktails and wines as well. Our server, Mia, was very sweet and knew the menu well. Definitely a spot to check out.
