Staff was welcoming and friendly. The place is very warm and inviting. Open space with a view of the Hudson River and Beacon. This would be a great spot to visit especially during Spring, Summer and Fall to get amazing views and enjoy the good food with some friends. They have a bar and another section with additional seating.

Went with two girlfriends where we wanted good food and conversation. We originally went to a restaurant next door but didn't want to wait 45 minutes. Told the hostess what we were looking for and asked for a restaurant nearby and she said this restaurant was every bit as good as hers, and she highly recommended it. One friend was struggling with poorly fitting dentures, and they recommended Lobster Bisque Soup, and my other friend was struggling with weight loss, and they suggested their skinless chicken. I usually call the chef in advance, but I couldn't, as this was a last minute recommendation, and the chef came out himself to discuss my diabetic diet (low fat, low carbohydrates and no sugar) and he adjusted the recipe for me. I had a salmon salad, that is usually served at dinner, even though we were having lunch. My meal was absolutely delightful. The ambience was beautiful and quiet. We didn't have to wait at all for a table. The servers were kind and thoughtful, bringing out the best in all the diners. The restroom was immaculate. Yes, we will return!

Wow, I dont even know where to start. I went there to see if they had any desserts I can pick up. Lady at the front showed me their fridge with not much selection. Ok no problem. Ill take a slice of the tiramusu cake. By the way it was $9. Again not a problem. Then I see her cutting off about 1 inch of my slice. I asked her why is she cutting it. Her answer was thats what we always do. Weird. Asked her what does she do with a 1 inch thick slice of cake. She had no answer. I asked again and she said we give it to our workers. Wth, im paying almost $10 for a slice of cake and you cut off a piece to give to your employees. I was completely shocked. I said I want my full slice cause im paying for it. She gave me a disgusting attitude for asking for my 1 inch piece of cake. Idk but this has never happened to me. I would recommend you not go to this place. If they are trying to skim you off of a slice of cake, im sure they are doing it to regular food orders.

Went on a double date - all 4 of us ended up sick through the night. Interestingly a coworker said the same thing happened to her there recently. The Italian sounding guy who works there was super rude on the phone when I called to just let them know. I wasn’t even asking for a refund.

This was the worst treatment I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant in my entire life. The waitress forgot to put our order in, and we sat for over an hour before they realized, then brought out the wrong food. When informed of her mistake, the waitress got super defensive and rude and blamed all of her errors on us. She continued to fight us for about 10 minutes on what time we came in, when we put our order in, her mishearing the pasta dish we ordered, etc., instead of taking accountability and just apologizing. As a disabled person, I cannot sit on a metal and wood-slatted chair for over two hours, and there was no compassion or apology for that either—nor did she comp us a single item for our awful experience. She did, however, steal or throw out the sweater I accidentally left there and went back for the next day, only to be greeted by a male employee or manager who was just as rude and dismissive as the waitress. Please do not waste your money here on subpar Italian food and horrendous attitudes and treatment. They should be ashamed of themselves.

The best way to describe this restaurant is that it’s like a warm hug. The owners Jose and Giselle have mastered the combination of great food and the best hospitality you can imagine. The menu is a beautiful combination of different types of dishes and they have a perfect wine and beer menu to match. Do not leave without ordering their gelato. This is a perfect spot to have lunch or dinner and enjoy their cozy interior.

Best meal we've had in months. Restaurant week, so you get 3 choices app/main and dessert for $29. A bargain. I had a salad and husband had a salad with calamari, and said it was as good as what he had in Nice, France. Lunch was a steak sandwich, delic, I had a pizza, delic and apple strudel with gelato for dessert. Lovely outdoor area heated, very friendly staff, and can't wait to go back for a lobster roll. Honestly, you couldn't beat this meal or atmosphere.
Beautiful, cozy & intimate atmosphere. Went there last night and had the tortellini pasta. It was phenomenal! Im inclined to say it was the best pasta Ive ever had.

When it was time to order drinks, I asked for a vodka on the rocks, but the server told me they weren’t serving alcohol yet, which was frustrating. However, they did have a great selection of wines, which was a nice alternative.
As for the food, most of my friends ordered veal, which was delicious and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, my experience was different. I ordered a Margherita pizza, and honestly, it was terrible—dry and flavorless. My husband had the fish, which was bland, tasteless, and the portion was very small.
Final Thoughts
📍 A nice spot for a date, thanks to its great ambiance and location, but the food didn’t impress me. 💰 Expensive: A dinner for two can cost between $120 and $150. ✅ Outstanding service, but the food didn’t meet my expectations.
I’m not sure if I would return, but if you’re looking for a restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great service, it might be worth a try.

Party of 4 adults and a child under 13 for dinner. We were greeted, seated and offered beverages as expected. We then sat unattended for 45 minutes. Wanting another drink but no one came. Water glasses empty but no one came. No bread on the table... Finally the food arrives and it is fantastic. Truly above average and almost worth $32 for a plate of macaroni. Still no one checked in or asked about our drinks. Yet, the place was empty except for 3 other tables. When the $220 bill came, it included A 20% GRATUITY OF $36!! I tip, I tip 20% and more when the service is great. THE SERVICE WAS ABYSMAL! AND I WAS FORCED TO PAY A 20% TIP BECAUSE WE WERE A PARTY OVER 4 PEOPLE (our fifth being an 11 year old)! I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!
Update - we were craving the food. We caved and decided to go again, knowing the service was bad but willing to deal with it because the food is so good. We weren't disappointed. The food takes time because it is prepared to order. This time, the restaurant was full and the service was very good. I've upped my stars but so not approved of the added gratuity for parties larger than four. Maybe double that.
