Cosimo’s Brick Oven Ristoranté & Bar, you owe me emotional damages. I ordered food in a literal lightning storm—because I’m sick, exhausted, and couldn’t cook—and you delivered soft wet bread with the flavor profile of expired baby vomit in cheese form. The soup was lukewarm bean paste at best, and the pizza? Don’t even try to call it Margherita. It was Blandghettini. It tasted like it was made by someone who’s never loved anything, not even garlic. The meatballs I received were clearly frozen and not fresh. This cost almost $40 And a thunderstorm. AND I HAD TO TIP HIGHER BECAUSE IT WAS RAINING AND I CAN'T GET A REFUND FROM UBER EATS. Zero stars. Go to culinary jail.
Very nice place with great service and great food. Portion for lunch was huge! And that sandwich was AMAZING! Prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula, brick bread....

Absolutely delicious! Beautiful inside the restaurant. Gluten free pizza was excellent. Service was stellar. Definitely coming back next time we are in New York.

First time ordering takeout and we got home and had one of the best meals. We usually eat in but we had a long day. It was the right choice for a takeout dinner.
Absolutely superb experience. Highly recommended to all.

I ordered a salad for takeout and the lettuce was old and moldy. Cosimo’s quality is usually good so this was very disappointing.

Ate there 3 times nothing special at all.
Cosimo’s is a great place to have a nice semi-fancy Italian dinner. Their service is excellent, and the food is top notch. I ordered the linguini with clams and white wine sauce and my cousin ordered the pasta with butter and shrimp. Both of our dishes were fantastic. The shrimps were nice and juicy, and the white wine sauce pairs perfectly with the clams and made for a delicious pasta. Their vast wine selection is also a huge pro of Cosimo’s. It’s also in a prime location next to a local fro-yo place called Sweet Frog. If you’re looking for somewhere with fancy food and drink, but less of the fancy price tag, Cosimo’s is the place for you!

Typically I would let one delivery order slide, but we’ve ordered either delivery or carry out several times from them and quite frankly, I don’t know why. The in-restaurant food vastly differs from the takeaway food. I’m disappointed time and time again. The last order was the icing on top of the cake. I input very specific instructions in the request field and received exactly the opposite of what was requested and the one part of the request they did get right was massively undercooked! To add further insult to injury, I was charge extra for my special request. Add on to this the extra fees for ordering delivery, the inflated menu prices and the poor food received, sorry, Cosimos, I will no longer be frequenting your restaurant, nor will I recommend to my friends and family. It’s quite sad because the in-house dining experience hasn’t been all that bad in the past. However at this point, I have to question that as well and am not willing to take the risk.
