Waited over an hour after ordering for Ramen. Seemed to be poorly organized as people that ordered ramen after us were served before us.
Waited over 30 mins after ordering and nobody came to tell us that the kitchen is way to backed up, and was told another 20 mins of wait.

3 of us had lunch there today—so good! We got the 9 U U bowl, which the server helpfully called the 9W (haha—like the main highway number). It was delicious, and I have leftovers for dinner, so for $18 it’s a good deal.
Go try it!
I’ve been wanting to try District Ramen for months and months now…sadly they experienced a fire and closed up their doors shortly after their opening. A lot of us were unsure if they would re-open but, they’re BACK! Tonight my friends and I snagged a seat at the bar. We were greeted by the wait staff who made sure we felt at home and how could you not feel cozy surrounded by beautiful wooden fixtures and soft lighting? Well….then the food came and oh my god ? I got the “Illuminator” ….it was DELICIOUS. The broth was rich, they are generous with their noodles and toppings and the ramen eggs (as we know) were to die for. I’m SO happy this little ramen joint is back in our community. I wish you guys nothing but success! You got packed tonight and I have a sneaking suspicion that that is going to be the normal for you all because you can tell you really love what you do. Thank you so much for an amazing meal. I cannot wait to bring even more friends and family back for the experience! itadakimasu (いただきます)!! ♥️
This place is truly gem. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere.

Ordered the Illuminator and it did not disappoint. Rich, complex flavors, similar to ramen spots in the city. Washed it down with nigiri sake. Will def try more things next round!
Fun, casual vibe and good lighting - which lots of the restaurants around here lack.

As claimed, this is the best ramen spot in the Hudson Valley. It's also one of the best restaurants in the Newburgh-Beacon area, and in the discussion for one of the best Asian food places in the Hudson Valley.
The beverage selection is nice, from the safe soft fare to a limited yet varied selection of hard options. Something light and smooth, something sweet, something hoppy, something rich, something for your preferred palate.
The food menu is focused, allowing them to focus on the execution of each dish. They're both well-cooked and made with well-sourced ingredients. You know they care when effort goes into spreading the salt on edamame.
The broth of the ramen is worthy of being sipped and the noodles are consistently cooked well. The Illuminator is actually spicy (not just white people spicy) with a pleasant kick. The veggie ramen exceeded expectations (because the reality is that many specialized veggie dishes are throwaways), with the broth, fresh toppings, and kale noodles comboing well. A lot of effort went into creating the bowl and it shows. The 47 and 9 U U are also fine choices that will satisfy your ramen cravings.
No, it's not a bowl that's on the same level as one you can get in Fukuoka or NYC. And, that's fine. After all, the masters have put out tens of thousands of bowls to perfect their craft. District Ramen is young and promising, worth stopping by, and for me, part of the regular rotation when eating out.
Pro’s first:
Friendly staff, neat interior, clean bathroom, and the Japanese buns tasted great, and noodles were a good quality. Nice job with all that. The okinawa beer was ok, though not my favorite, but to be fair im not usually a fan of light beers.
Con’s:
The chashu pork was paper thin and half the width of a buisness card. The chicken/pork broth was not rich, quite watery and lacked flavor. There were bits of corn in something that should not have had corn in it, bit of a turn off, Makes one worry about what other cross contamination might be going on. The soft boiled was not fresh, it was cold, who wants to eat cold runny egg yolk? Too heavy on the scallions. The crunchy roll beer was too watery and gross for me to finish, which is pretty rare for me not to finish a beer. The exterior was a bit unexpected also, located in the middle of what some would call a rundown residential area (which honestly is no big deal if they could get the rest right, but may be important to some people like if your taking someone out on a date)
Overall. If you love ramen, I would not recommend to come here for ramen or drinks. I personally wont be back. But seems some people like it, it was decently filled on a Tuesday afternoon. If you want an appetizer and clean bathroom then go for it.

Walked in and sat at the bar for a solo dinner to scout out the place before I take my husband. My original go to ramen is Tonkotsu ramen. Unfortunately they did not have it on the menu yet. The barkeep said within the next few weeks they should be adding it. I ordered the house Shoyu ramen and edamame. The portions were huge. The ingredients were wonderful. However I didn’t particularly love the shoyu broth BUT (that is a BIG BUT) I have never had shoyu and compared to the tonkotsu I am so accustomed to, it tasted bland. I’m definitely going to go back and try a different ramen. Definitely recommend.
Parking: Not the most safe area to park.

I was super excited to see a ramen spot open up in Newburgh and have been looking forward to trying it! Went here with a friend who is also a lover of ramen and we both got the shoyu ramen and shared some takoyaki. The food was really yummy, the service was great, and the decor was cute. Excited to see that they’re adding Tonkatsu ramen to their menu soon! I do wish the parking options were better, as street parking in the area can be tough to find, but not a deal breaker. Overall solid ramen spot, would recommend.
