First time coming here, and I’ve gotta say it brings a nostalgic vibe once I stepped in! Anyone who’s been to Mr V’s in beacon’s Main Street will love Downtown Bagels! The staff is very friendly, and I had to wait less than 5 minutes for my sandwich to be made and ready! I enjoy small businesses, escape racially when they put love and effort into their products! This is a go-to for a quick bite with low wait times!

Ok so I love this place, however the layout needs a revamp, because it causes chaos during busy times.. and this place is very busy. People tend to wait at tables for their food because there’s not enough standing space or a clear designated place for a line to form for paying and for waiting. This cases those who want to dine-in 1) not have a place to sit, or dentures them from wanting to eat it. There needs to be a clear area for waiting, a clear area for paying thusly freeing up tables for customers who want to dine-in. I feel like that would also help the chaotic paying process if your waiting to pay and also make it easier for the staff to deliver food the the fine in customers. The food is good the atmosphere needs WORK. Again I love their food, I am hesitant to stop some times due to the chaos.

Great place for FRESH bagels! Very local, and very cozy. The staff was super friendly, and they work fast. Even though we are from out of town, we felt like part of the community. Skip the chain places and come here!

Breakfast sandwiches and bagels are fantastic but getting your food and paying for your order is a disaster.
We called to place an order, and they even read it back to us to confirm everything, so we thought it would be right. When we got there, the place was packed (which usually means good food, right?). We waited in line for a while. Unfortunately, our order was completely wrong. I wanted to go back and have it fixed because my parents and I were so hungry, but the wait was just too long. Really disappointed — everything just seemed so unorganized.

Incredible bagel deli that feels like NYC. The customer service can be a little too direct at first, but my orders have always been correct, food is delicious, and I love their onion bagels and Chipotle Turkey BLTs. Now I look forward to going there to see the staff and get some comfort food.
