The other day I went to Dunkin Donuts on 1208 Route 300 in Newburgh NY for a coffee before heading to work. I walked in, picked up my mobile order, and immediately noticed the top of the cup was messy. Coffee was already spilled across the lid before I even opened it.

I walked over to the napkin station but it was empty. One of the female employees was behind the counter, so I politely asked if there were any napkins. Her response shocked me. Instead of simply answering, she spoke with a harsh tone and a very nasty aggressive expression, as if I had done something wrong by asking for something basic.

At that point I went to the counter and calmly requested a refund. I explained that the coffee was made messy and that her attitude concerned me. Another employee aggressively looked into my order and told me I had to request the refund through the app. The same woman who spoke to me with an attitude then rushed over and tried to take the coffee away from me.

I told her that if I had to refund it through the app on my own time then she could not take the coffee from me. She replied instantly, “If you are getting a refund you cannot have the coffee,” while standing in front of me with the same cold and hostile energy. Watching two employees behave this way over something so small was unbelievable.

The male employee in the store seemed disconnected from their behavior. He looked uncomfortable and wanted no involvement. He politely filled the napkin bin, offered to help me get my receipt, and wished me a good day. But since it was a mobile order he could not process the refund either. I left the store stunned.

The money was never the problem and neither was the refund. What disturbed me most was the mindset and the cold energy I was forced to experience over something so simple. That is what stays with you longer than any spilled coffee ever will.

I do not know these two individuals, and I came in for a simple coffee. But the truth is that some places in NY have become very harsh. People act with unnecessary nastiness, and there is no accountability. The script gets flipped and suddenly it becomes a customer issue when the reality is that I walked into a franchise expecting basic respect.

I have only been to this Dunkin Donuts twice before. Both visits were quick and I had no interaction with these two women because there were more customers in the store. This time their behavior was undeniable.

I am posting this video for awareness and in hopes that @dunkindonuts sees what is happening at this location. Life is too precious for hateful treatment like this. Some people truly need a reality check. Respect is free.

This location is consistently friendly, kind, and consistently making the food and drinks taste the same and AMAZINGLY every time! I will gladly skip a drive thru Dunkin just to come inside this one. Also I love the decorations!!! Thank you morning crew for always helping me start the day with a smile! It seriously means so much to me. Keep it up!

I wanted to add that service is always quick here no matter how busy! Yall are awesome!

I love Dunkin' coffees, but this place has a bad service I ordered a medium Caramel latte and they gave me the empty glass and a bacon, egg and cheese and it was like I was ordering I never go back to that place

Let me tell y'all something!! Ms. Nicole is an absolute sweetheart! I was having such a a rough day, and she took the time not to just make my coffee perfectly but treat me like a person! ❤️❤️ What a great experience!!! The whole store was also decorated for summerween!!! Too cute!!! 🎃🎃🎃

This Dunkin is terrible I ask the counter lady for refresher and she said she has no refresher no smoothies no coffee nothing only I have water and then I went to restroom no soap no paper towel and even air dryer was not working. Last look so tired and frustrated

Beware of online orders at this Dunkin. They conduct a scam where they tell you they don't have something to fill your order then refuse to swap it out or to give you a refund and send you to the app which doesn't have a refund option. They will also refuse to give you a receipt to show you didn't get your items if you want to file a claim with corporate. Just a receipt showing you received the items that you did not.

How many times did y'all recook these hash browns before it was served to me? It’s not even edible. I literally purchased 2 orders and I can’t even eat it I’m highly annoyed the workers are nice but the work ethic not so much.

So me, my brother and my mom went to Dunkin because we have never experienced a problem with Dunkin. We say what we want and everything is normal. We get our food but we are waiting 5 minutes to get a donut. They gave us 2 donuts when we ordered 1 but that’s not the problem. The problem is THERE WAS A PEICE OF HAIR IN THE BAG. It is none of ours because it was stuck in there. And to top it off the cream cheese on the bagel was watery. I had high hopes for Dunkin but they had to ruin it. Filthy dump

I'm extremely disappointed in my experience at this Dunkin'.
First, they didn't have any midnight black coffee so I had to settle on the house blend. Second, my chai latte was not even 2/3 full. None of the drinks were reasonably hot enough for my comfort and the service was exceptionally slow.
Even for expected to be overpriced coffee, this was a terrible experience.

This staff here are very friendly and very professional.
But after asking for 2 sandwiches Without bacon and still getting bacon One star.
Second, the bacon was uncooked another two stars(UNCOOKED/ IMPROPERLY COOKED BACON IS UNACCEPTABLE AND DANGEROUS)
Last but not least is the spoon they mix the coffee with sits in sanitizer and not running water So unless you are paying attention, you are consuming sanitizer. I tested this out by ordering two coffees one mixed and one unmixed and the one mixed definitely did not taste right and a bit chemical. Be careful with this. I have caught several dunkin donuts doing this.

Don’t know what the ladies problems are here, maybe they’re just miserable. Blc lady who served me was super rude the manager should reconsider who they hire. I’m not just saying that I used to work at Dunkin and I know what bad customer service is. Honestly I don’t usually listen to reviews but trust the customer service and attitude is horrible here. Food and drinks were good tho
