Extremely disappointed by my most recent experience at Five Star Deli. I’ve been a customer for many years and today I went to visit the deli to do my weekly shop. I walked in at 3:15pm with ample time before closure. The doors were half shut with many customers still inside waiting to be served. I stand at the door asking the staff if they were still open but no one responded so I proceeded to walk in. As soon as I set foot into the store, all the workers are aggressively yelling at me telling me the store is closed and to leave. I spoke to one of the workers as she ran to escort me out of the doors, that their trading hours say they close at 4pm on a Sunday, but she said they were closing early. This is not how you treat your customers or run a business. I won’t be coming back if that’s how your staff treat your customers and especially in front of your other customers, it was embarrassing.
