I tried G&H for the first time and it did not disappoint! The fried fish and shrimp were crispy and seasoned just right, and the collard greens and baked mac and cheese were delicious comfort food. The service was friendly and quick I was in and out in no time. I’ll definitely be back!

Probably the most delicious Jamaican food I’ve had. The jerk chicken with rice and peas was absolutely flavorful. The Mac& cheese was also delicious. Worth all the money. This is coming from someone who lived in NYC and knows their Jamaican spots. Definitely must try!!!

I ordered the shrimp & fish combo with mac & yams. The whole plate was mid. The shrimp was too salty, the Mac lacked flavor, and it was room temp as well as the yams. I came here because I heard people say their food is good. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m from the city and have a higher expectation of food 😂 but this food was okay. I guess for upstate it’s fine.
The best Jamaican/Soul food in the whole newburgh. Ordered through Uber Eats and it came very fresh and hot as if we got it there at the restaurant. Would highly recommend!!

Ordered 2 different meals that came with 2 sides, and also ordered 2 slices of carrot cake. one of the meals had an EMPTY space in the container meant for the 2nd side. Also was missing one slice of carrot cake. Thankfully we checked our order before driving off
