Probably the most delicious Jamaican food I’ve had. The jerk chicken with rice and peas was absolutely flavorful. The Mac& cheese was also delicious. Worth all the money. This is coming from someone who lived in NYC and knows their Jamaican spots. Definitely must try!!!

I ordered the shrimp & fish combo with mac & yams. The whole plate was mid. The shrimp was too salty, the Mac lacked flavor, and it was room temp as well as the yams. I came here because I heard people say their food is good. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m from the city and have a higher expectation of food 😂 but this food was okay. I guess for upstate it’s fine.

Ordered 2 different meals that came with 2 sides, and also ordered 2 slices of carrot cake. one of the meals had an EMPTY space in the container meant for the 2nd side. Also was missing one slice of carrot cake. Thankfully we checked our order before driving off

Just tasted everything before I pulled off! AINT NO ONE touching their Soulfood! Not Harlem, Brooklyn or the Bx! I just moved up here from the city and I never thought I would find the best Soulfood spot up here!? Do your taste buds and backs a favor and stop in! This place is landed straight from the sky to Newburgh! I’m so excited and happy I found this spot. It was my first time and the host helped me pick my options. I went with the jerk chicken candied yams and Mac and cheese. My mom got the fried fish rice and peas and cabbage. We enjoyed every part of our meals. Got the carrot cake too! I will definitely be back to try more items. This place is also super clean and the service was on point! Stay blessed
