As a new resident to the area, I was worried if I’d find the equivalent or better Jamaican food as the Bronx. I was pleasantly surprised as both visits to GK were met with wonderful customer service by the female serving and the male cashing. I’m sorry I didn’t catch the names but I’ll be back. Excellent portions and flavor. I always feel I got my monies worth. Keep up the good work.

You know the food is always fresh.There has never been a time when I visited and there was not a line, all walks of life pass through this place.RESPECT!!!!

We ordered the oxtail, after buying some patties and coco bread. It just came out fresh and we ordered a large. We normally wouldn't order food from GK, usually ordering at other little joints. They gave us a good sized portion and it was actually amazing. You can tell that they actually made the food with love and care. The oxtail was really good and meaty, the rice and pea were really good as well. We really enjoyed it. The only thing lacking was the cabbage, which was more on the crunchy side. I'm assuming they didn't steam it down enough. It was good, though. We would definitely return. Great customer service too!

We didn't receive plantains with our order and the stewed chicken was overcooked. Also asked for extra gravy on the oxtails and did not receive that either. Very disappointe.

I did not know what to expect. Oh, my word, my tastebuds are very happy right now. We ordered a few dishesa: j*** chicken, j*** pork, and chicken wings. There is not a bad bite in any of the dishes. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. I need to know what they season the vegetables with because they were excellent. I'm so excited to have something new in the area that is shaking up the options. Congratulations, Golden Krust! Let's get the word out.

The customer service is great as both workers are incredibly friendly and helpful and the food coming out piping hot and fresh.
