Excellent BBQ. Try the brisket or the pastrami. Baked beans are a favorite side too. Try the Thai chili cauliflower! Just a few minutes from 84. This is a great place to meet friends. Food order is completely separate from the bar.

The Apple Pie Baked Beans are Phenomenal and match it with the Sweet Tea (no ice recommended) is a great pair. The staff are super friendly and respectful. Fourth time coming and I definitely see myself coming back.
Spilled my drink (that was already ½ done) and they replaced it free. Really good food.nice people

1st time food was not as horrible but definitely below average. Service was crap. Everyone is sad there. 2nd and last time we went there the Owner was taking orders and made extra effort to ignore us. Maybe a bad day from someone feeling a power trip? Who knows Basically was telling the person in front of us who was not ready to order to take their time. And even when they didn’t want anything he just left us at the counter confused what is going on. Horrible service to compliment the disgusting food. Will Never spend a dime there.

Stopped here with friends for a wonderful BBQ experience! The bartender was friendly & personable. The food was fresh, tasty & delish. You can pick your sides & portions or go all with three meats. We had the brisket x 3 & smoked turkey, cornbread, Cole slaw, apple beans. The possibilities are endless. We really enjoyed the Thai chili cauliflower too! Our friends took their dessert home with them but the carrot cake looked fabulous.

Handsome Devil BBQ is the best in the Hudson Valley. I didn't rate the location because we’ve only gone with take out, but of that the brisket is incredible. The sides here are definitely not an afterthought. Also ordered the smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. It was juicy and the perfect balance of smoky flavor. The take out orders are so carefully packaged and the owners are really nice people.

I was driving through town and stopped here based on a recommendation. I travel around the US a lot, and sample BBQ everywhere. Handsome Devil has the best brisket I've ever had from a restaurant. I ate it after a 3 hour car ride, so I can just imagine how good it would be at the restaurant. The ribs, pulled pork, and turker were all good, but the brisket is the standout.
