Hurricane Grill & Wings-Newburgh

I had went here with my boyfriend and his mom, I’ve been wanting to try this spot since we got together so this was my first experience and never again, this night out ended in a hospital trip. When we walked in we were seated immediately and I didn’t even get a chance to look at the menu and a server came to the table. She asked what drinks we wanted, great. Then asked if we wanted appetizers, but we explained we needed a seconded to look over the menu, she then walked away with an attitude. When she brings us our drinks we only have time to figure out what appetizers we wanted. We explained the pretzel had to have no butter because his mother has a severe dairy allergy, and then said we needed more time to pick our entree and she proceeded to roll her eyes and walk away. His mother proceeded to go to a manager and ask if they have a dairy free menu and they do not. They explain they have to check the kitchen and will come and let us know what she can have, no one ever showed up. The server comes back 4 minutes later and we all order wings, his mother reminded the server again that she has a dairy allergy and the server failed to reiterate that the chicken is battered in BUTTERMILK. We receive the appetizers and the beer batter cheese was cold, but the chips and queso was good. Then we receive our entrees and his mom begins eating when I questioned what they were battered with. She had already eaten one before I realized. A manager walks by and we get his attention and try to ask what the chicken is battered with and he can’t even understand us. He gets the other manager and we ask him if there’s dairy in the chicken. He says no and his mom asked what it was battered with and he said buttermilk. Not realizing buttermilk is dairy… when his mother corrects him he says “some of the waitresses don’t know to much about the allergy stuff or they forgot”. I find this extremely unprofessional. We then had to pack all our food and leave so she could go take medication, but by the time we left the parking lot the reaction was becoming more and more severe so she had to go to the emergency room. If the server had reiterated that the chicken was made with buttermilk or the restaurant was more allergy friendly none of this would’ve happened. I will never come here again and we will be asking for compensation. I do not recommend to eat at this location there’s better places to eat in Newburgh.

Hurricane Grill & Wings consistently delivers a fantastic experience. The food is always on point, but the wings are the absolute standout—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Beyond the menu, the customer service is top-notch,the staff is attentive and makes you feel welcome every time.
It’s also the perfect environment for sports fans, with plenty of TVs featuring a wide variety of games. Whether you’re looking for a fun spot for a family dinner or a laid-back night out with friends to grab some great drinks, this place hits the mark every time. Highly recommended!

Teryaki chicken on the bones were dried out and tasted old. Also, they forgot to include 2 ordered french fries. When i went back to pick it up, they only gave me 1 order of fries. I was, to say the least, very disapointed.

I am in from out of town this week and I was looking for somewhere to eat. I found hurricane grill and wings and the food was great. And the service was great thanks to Cailin.i highly recommend eating here.

We had such a great time at Hurricane Grill & Wings in Newburgh! From the moment we walked in, the staff made the experience outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything; the bartender mixed up some excellent drinks, and the manager came by to check in, making sure everything was perfect.

But the real highlight of the night? The entertainment! An Ozzy Osbourne look-alike took the stage and completely stole the show. Between the spot-on voice, the wild energy, and the fun atmosphere, it felt like we were at a rock concert.

Great food, great service, and unforgettable entertainment—can’t wait to come back!

Pretty bad all around, I only went there once so its possible I just was unlucky. I dont think thats the case. Bartenders basically ignored most guests while I was there, food was bad, drinks were also. Not trying to be a jerk, it just wasnt good
