Traveling on business into Newburgh NY and found this gem on Yelp - had an amazing dinner. Our server - Ali - was knowledgeable and friendly with great service. The ambiance was old school Italy with food to match, ordered my Osso Bucco as a special item not on the menu - it was both perfect and a huge portion. If I ever come back to this area - I'll Cena'colo is a return spot for sure.

We had a reservation on Valentine's Day at 8pm and we were seated pretty quickly but not a single waiter or waitress brought us a menu or got us a drink. After 40 minutes of waiting I had to ask the hostess for menus. Other than the service the food was absolutely amazing! Im looking forward to going back and hopefully having a better experience:)

Been going here over 18 years. Northern Italian food is so delicioso! Ate my FIRST shaved truffle over pasta with oil (my husband put his hand out to waiter so he would stop shaving the truffle over my dish at 5th shaving $$$$$) No Mas.The fresh whole flounder deboned in front of you is classic. Love, LOVE this place. Small, cozy and romantic. Perfect dinner date or for anytime you want a homemade delicious meal. Reservations are a must during weekend evenings. Do not be confused by the menu when you sit down, the audible list of specials every night is vast. Full bar makes any cocktail that can come to mind. Gnocchi with lamb sauce was to die for and I think I could have cut my filet with a spoon. The only con is that your bill can pile up fast, that isn't to say it isn't worth it. Everything is absolutely incredible and the service was fantastic.

We went most recently for a birthday. Everything about the visit was wonderful. The waiter was amazing. The food was perfect. While we were keeping the birthday on the down low, the waiter found out and comped us drinks and desert. I am so happy to have such an amazing Northern Italian restaurant in our area.

Easily the best restaurant in Orange county. Fantastic service and delicious food. Bar and wine service is excellent. If you're looking for the best and are willing to spend the time and money to get it, this is the place to go.
This is real authentic Italian food and ambiance. I can’t believe this place exists far outside of Long Island and NYC. The items in the cold antipasto were so well thought out and gave a great sampling of their marinated vegetables and cured meats. I ordered a squid ink seafood pasta entree from the specials menu. I only get this type of pasta if it is made fresh at a legitimate Italian restaurant. The sauce was amazing and the assortment of seafood in the dish was so fresh. Ricotta cheesecake for dessert… best I’ve ever had. The wait staff were very attentive and didn’t let us pick up our water to pour it ourselves. That is good service! I hope to be back one day!!

It's so nice to find Italy in my hometown. From the second you walk in you feel The ambience. The food is made to perfection. The only problem is so many choices. Can't wait to go back and try them all.
Food was exceptional along with the service. Did feel a little cramped. Otherwise very authentic decor. The only reason i don't give it 5 stars is because i am a little thrifty and for me it was pricey. If money isn't an issue then definitely 5 stars.

Outstanding service, Nancy is amazing! Food is amazing, you will not be disappointed. The low reviews on here are from uptight idiots who don't understand a real Italian resturant if it hit them in the rear end. This is a sit down relax and enjoy your dinner type of place. If your server takes time brining your drink or meal it's ok. Let it be, and enjoy a bit of convo. Seriously you will love this place, go enjoy a relaxing meal with friends and family. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I've been here many times before, and it never ceases to amaze me the high quality of their food. The selection is superb and I try something new each time. The waiter recited about a five minute specials menu to us without any notes. Well trained! The only thing that bothers me about this place is that there are so many tables crammed in, and the antipasto table is just right there in the front as everybody passes by. I'm not sure that is the most sanitary thing in the world. However, I will be back as it is one of my favorite Old world Italian restaurants in the area.
