I grew up with Pete and Vinnie Orsino! I used to go there 3-4 times a week and most days I'd have at least 2 dogs with mustard and extra craut! Since I was a family friend I even worked there for some time as a teenager! I now live in Florida and only occasionally get to Newburgh but when I do I stop in for a "few" of those wonderful hot dogs! My good buddy Pete has left this world but Vince is still there. Haven't been there in a while but still remember the great times we had there!

BEST hot dogs in town...when they're open...we stop. Hours are unpredictable but it doesn't matter...if they're there...they're open...if they're not there...they're closed.

Good dogs and friendly service. I took a star off because their hours and days they are open are too unpredictable. Create a simple website to say Yes We’re Open Today or Sorry, See You Soon.

I myself have dined on Pete's for close to 71 years. Other members of my family including my parents and grand parents for more than that. I recently took a buddy all the way from Long Island for a leisurely drive upstate. Of course we had to have our lunch at Pete's. My usual two dog's mustard and sauerkraut, and a chocolate milk. I was a kid again!

Pete's hot dogs are still the best. I've been going here since I was old enough to eat hot dogs. I can remember my mother saying "let's go get a hot dog and lemon ice".

As usual, it was a quick visit. But Renee was pleasant, quick and efficient. The dogs were absolutely perfect. I appreciate that through the generations they have not changed at all.

I grew up in Coldenham, eight, ten miles west of Newburgh. Since 1962, when my Dad stopped at Pete's and bought me a couple of dogs, and an orange soda, (Costa, of course), I've always enjoyed Pete's! Now, I live outside Denver, but Pete's is a regular stop whenever I return home. Several family trips saw our kids and myself sitting in Pete's with three or four dogs a piece. I've traveled in and around 44 states, and there is NO better hot dog stand in America for me. Wayne

We've been fans of Pete's since we were married back in 1975. .we left New York in. 1977 and made it back in 2001 and we got a bunch of dogs to go. We retired in texas now and wish there was a petes here.. . We even have original Pete's t shirt in great shape....let us know if we can start up a hot dog cart with your product...yours truly carsons

I wouldn't rave about the hot dogs. They are your average snap casing hot dogs. Pete's offers a small variety of toppings which are good. The price is good. The hot dogs are good. Pete's has been in the same spot for what seems like forever. I lived on West Parmenter St in 1973 and Pete's was there then. When it's lunch time, don't plan on sitting down and eating. Run in and grab your dogs and drink and leave. Bathroom was very clean.
