The garlic naan, and zaffrani chicken biryani and malai kebab are so damn mouthwatering. Come here on a very cold winter day, or on a hot summer night. You won't be left unsatisfied. Big ups to Goldy Paaji for helping create this amazing restaurant and providing the restaurant goers with a lovely vista of the Hudson.

Absolutely phenomenal Indian food. The tandoori chicken smelled so good as it hit the table still sizzling. We also had a lamb dish that our server recommended, seasoned perfectly and the lamb melted in your mouth. The naan bread was the best I’ve ever had. Even the basmati rice was delicious. You must absolutely try this place! Our server was lovely and very gracious. The prices are very reasonable too.

This place is amazing. I usually don't go to Indian restaurants because it's never like Mom's cooking...but this place is the closest to home cooking I've had. 10/10 will return. Great service, friendly staff. If you're in the mood for Indian food, and fond yourself in the Newburgh area, do yourself a favor and check them out!

I have been going here for a long time and in the past couple months the place was sold and the new owners have turned it into an Indian restaurant. My brother and I deiced to go on 10/02/2024 and try it out. There were a few other tables of people. Our waiter was great and so was the food. We had order the Chicken 65 for a stater and we both really enjoyed it. It had a good spice to it, and not overly spicy. I had order the chicken vindaloo hot. For you spicy fans this is perfect. If you don't like very spicy things I suggest the mild. My brother had his favorite Indian dish, the Lamb Korma and we had a side of garlic naan. He loved the Lamb Korma and I tried it as well, it was very good. The serving sizes were decent, about what I would get at an Indian restaurant back in NYC. We will be taking his friend here who has never had Indian food in the near future. Price wise it was very reasonable and we both had a few drinks.
Parking: On the water front Newburgh just changed to those parking meters for the street and small lot. Free packing drive down past midnight ferry to the big parking lot next to it.

We discovered now The River Grill an Indian Cuisine on at the Waterfront a few weeks ago and have been back every week since. Food and service is excellent, cocktails are fabulous! Highly recommend! Spread the word. More people need to know about this place!

I won’t go to this restraint any more, they took over the restaurant keeping all the staff of the original owner and then came in one day and fired the whole staff with less then a weeks notice. They left so many people with out work. If you wanna come in and buy a restaurant it should be kept how it was not fire the staff, change the menu and everything to create a whole new restaurant.
