A gem in the middle of the city of Newburgh! The food was good with large portions. Very traditional Italian restaurant atmosphere. Service was great, everyone was kind and attentive. Definitely try the sangria, it was delicious! The special of the seafood Mac n cheese was amazing!
As the name implies, this is an Italian restaurant. Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen in this area. With this being my first experience at the restaurant I did what I do for every Italian restaurant, I aimed high. Eggplant parmigiana. If you can do it, you can do it or you're like most Italian restaurants and fail miserably. Vesuvio's can do it! Service was outstanding and the food was amazing.
My wife had their salmon salad and she truly enjoyed it. I had their chicken parm and it might have been the best I’ve ever had…and I’ve eaten it in many, many places. Instead of the pasta for a side dish, I had their string beans and although a simple side - even it was incredibly tasty.
