we live an hour an half and it's a pleasure to drive there ,Hondurian dishes are the best and excellent like Pollo con tajadas wish they could open a new restaurant in westchester and of course have to be the same chef 🧑🍳
Zulimar is a hidden Newburgh gem. The space is clean and tidy. The owners here clearly care about their business as the place is immaculate. The food ... Simply impressive. Every dish I have ever gotten from here has been delectable, from the fried chicken to the platanos, to the tacos. All of it is amazing. I highly recommend this spot for an authentic Central American culinary experience
I visited Zulimar and tried their Pollo con Tajadas (Honduran-style fried chicken) wow, absolutely delicious! Perfectly seasoned and crispy, just like it should be. I also had the sopa de mariscos, which was super flavorful and comforting. The broth was amazing! If I had one small suggestion, it would be to have a better balance of seafood versus veggies and imitation crab in the bowl.
