We were attracted in by the busy parking lot combined with the 4.6 rating we saw online at the time. This was a mistake. The menu did not meet our misplaced expectations of higher end dining. The strength of this place is its low price point. We had a quite respectable salad and a deplorable hot beef sandwich. The soup had been salted to the point of near inedibilty. And I have a high tolerance for salt. Stop if you're looking for something like fast food and have time...
I wish I would have taken a picture of the food ordered. A beer battered fish fry french fries. My granddaughter ordered a cheeseburger and macaroni and cheese. The fish fry was absolutely fresh, delicious and not greasy. Very meaty french fries were fresh cut and deliciously cooked for the kids meal. The hamburger was delicious as per my granddaughter, but the top bun was a little bit too stiff for a 5-year-old child. It's more of a gourmet bun. And let's talk about...
First time being here after hearing very good things. Food wasn’t bad but it’s nothing to rave about. I ordered the beer batter fish fry; with coleslaw and Mac and cheese. While everything is homemade the slaw was good but the Mac was not cooked all the way and the noodles were still hard. Other people ordered the lobster stuffed haddock and shrimp, two cheeseburgers. We also started with fried cauliflower bites and pretzels for the appetizer. Again everything was not bad...
