I ordered a special birthday cake for my son from The Ultimate Bakery (A&G), and I’m very disappointed. What I expected and what I received were completely different.

I showed them a clear picture of the design I wanted — a clean, detailed Batman and Spiderman theme cake with smooth finishing and decorations like the sample image. But the cake I received looked very messy and unprofessional. The design was not neat, the colors were off, and it didn’t look anything like what I ordered.

For the price I paid, I truly expected much better quality and attention to detail. The cake might have tasted okay, but visually it was a huge letdown, especially for such an important occasion — my son’s birthday.

I hope they take customer orders more seriously in the future and deliver what they promise.

We moved from Howard Beach 2 years ago. We bought a house in Dollard Drive. I usually walk my dog every day. I stopped by this bakery. Most of the time I will leave my dog outside, while I purchase bread & pastries. I dont know if the Woman that is always there is the owner, but she is the nicest person i ever met. I am a regular attendee of this bakery. Since I had throat cancer, I really can't speak so I carry my phone with me for messaging. Every day I usually buy bread a cannoli or Apple turnover. I point to the lady what I want. Many times there are young ladies working the counter. They are all wonderful and helpful. Now they let me and my Dog enter the bakery. He is very well behaved, most of time i buy a small cannoli for Duke. My Wife loves the Cannoli & the Apple turnover. I always leave a tip for them. Whether us winter, summer, rain, snow, heat i have to stop and get a pastry or bread. The name if the Bakery is appropriate. They are the ultimate.

I couldn’t be happier with the cake I ordered for my engagement party! It came out absolutely perfect—honestly even better than I imagined. The design was flawless, the details were stunning, and the taste was out of this world. They took my vision and made it even better!

Bought this yesterday, after ate a few slices, found out the bottom of the apple turnover had so many mold, threw away immediately, so disgusting, had stomachache for a few hours. Never buy from them again.

This is a great bakery in Deer Park area. Lots of cake and pastry options and freshly baked. The customer service is great and she was very patient and gave excellent recommendations. I already told neighbors to try it and even the famous tre leches is sold there.

Expensive, did I say expensive? Well I'm case I didn't this place is Expensive!
But that's me I'm a bit old fashioned and still count my pennies...
Let me say the desserts are delicious so dig deep into your pockets and enjoy!
The servers have little personality so don't expect much help there.
Just pick out a nice cake or some pastries and live it up!
obtw, (see pic) last time in I bought a medium tray of cookies from the counter for ( hold on before I say the price let me ask are you sitting down? I don'tb what you to fall down and hit your head lol). $37.00

Clean, kosher, and friendly staff. The prices are a little on the high side, but their cakes have never disappointed me. I will recommend this bakery to my family and friends. I will definitely be visiting this bakery many more times.

Pastries are old and stale

Used to be a good bakery but the ingredients and recipes have gone downhill since new management. Don’t get the rainbow cookies, they have zero flavor, not sure even there was even any almond paste in them at all. I would say you could probably get better rainbow cookies at Stop & Shop. We also bought a cheesecake and it was stale and dry. The cannolis are prefilled and were a bit soggy and the cream stale. This was over two different trips over a couple of weeks because I wanted to give them another shot since we’ve been going there for 13 years and it was always so good. I think the new managers are cutting too many corners while also increasing prices. We will not be going back and that’s a shame.

Went in for Mother’s day. Everything was fantastic! I got the Pignoli cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, berry tarts and rainbow cookies. Highly recommended. I couldn’t resist getting myself a Sfogliatella for breakfast and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. I will be returning for future events!
