I gave them 1 star because their customer service is nonexistent. I haven’t been here in years for the same reason, but I decided to give it another shot since I was in the area. Big mistake. I stood there for over 5 minutes—completely ignored—while three employees walked around. I was the only customer, and they wouldn’t even make eye contact. If you don’t want to interact with customers, why work in food service?

I've had a previous issue with this place a couple years back and so I never went back until last. So previously I order food walk right out the restaurant and all my food goes ripping through the bag i asked to replace and the women were so nasty and rude and told me i had to pay again. Thats not my fault that you're bags you give out are not structurally capable of holding your food. Last night i went there ordered rast pasta and a Jamaican patty the rasta pasta taste like peppers and water no seasoand tasted old. The beef patty was mushy stale and disgusting. Just reminded me why i stopped going to this place super disappointed again.

My boyfriend and I came in late and ordered 4 beef patties, along with a stewed chicken meal with rice, peas, and cabbage. We were looking forward to a quiet evening together, especially since it's rare for him to be off early on a Friday.
We were served the last of the patties, but after eating them, both of us got sick at the same time, experiencing sharp stomach pains, bloating, and frequent trips to the bathroom. This continued throughout the night and into the morning, and my stomach still hurts. I’m really disappointed, and I’m not sure if the patties had been left out too long and went bad but we won’t be purchasing food here again.
As for the stewed chicken meal, it just didn’t taste good, there was no taste … so I didn’t end up eating it.. that’s why i ended up eating one of his patties.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

I got ackee and salt fish with fry dumplings this morning. I open my bag of dumplings and pull one out and someone’s nasty burgundy weave hair is wrapped around it! Needless to say I won’t be going back!

does anyone know where to get good oxtail from this use to be the best place to get it but they fell off .no kind of seasoning and oxtail was tough like shoe leather. step up your game people . we’re is the original chef i want to eat there
The customer service is the worst part! I hate interacting with the workers, unfortunately. Whenever I go here I dread going in because I know I’ll be greeted by sour faces and nasty attitude, no matter how you try to be nice it’s met with grumpiness and incorrect orders. All 3 of them are equally as bad. I might have to stop going here solely because of the customer service or the lack thereof. Manager/owner needs to fix this.

Not only am I their merchant service agent, but my wife and I enjoy their food as well. They bring a touch of Jamaica to Deer Park Long Island. They also have another location located in Wyandanch by the rail road station.
