As someone who is really picky about Greek food this place literally NEVER disappoints me. I moved back to the area about a year ago after leaving briefly, I work & live down the block from here, I couldn't be happier I gave this place a shot. I know there's usually a wait, it happens, but I adjust accordingly & its always worth it. I also don't know how anyone can complain about the price .. I get a large dinner for 2 people here for under $40. With how expensive everything is you cant really beat that unless you cook at home. They have the BEST grilled chicken & the Lemon soup is my favorite.

Ate there this past weekend…it was quite busy so we knew we were gonna have to wait on our orders… but stayed, because we knew this place is always more than worth any wait. They are so efficient..we were eating in no time! We each raved about our meals-gyro, bowl, Greek salad with lamb- it was fresh, hot, flavorful and plentiful. Staff and owners are so gracious for their customers, they treat you like family-it’s a great environment. Cannot recommend it enough!! ¨̮

A hidden gem in Bellmore! This small Greek spot offers a cozy dine-in experience along with takeout and delivery. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared, with flavors that taste straight from the motherland. Perfect for a quick bite or a casual meal with friends. I was in the area and craving Greek food and I saw the reviews. This was the most delicious Greek food I’ve had in a very long time. The lamb/beef gyro meat was delicious and moist. Although the gyro platter is a little pricey it comes with a very generous portion of food (and that’s coming from someone with a huge appetite). Love the lemon potatoes. The authentic Greek pork sausage (Loukaniko) was tasty. The stuffed grape leaves were fresh and delicious. I’m writing this review on a food high and I’m very happy. I liked it so much that I wanted to call in and let them know but instead I wrote this review. The inside wasn’t overly fancy, but it was clean and there are several tables where you can sit. I ordered takeout. The other reviews stated they’re a family run business. Well, I’ve never been to Greece, but this tasted like it could be authentic Greek food. All I know is it was also delicious. Thank you.

We just had dinner here and everything was absolutely amazing! I ordered the build-your-own bowl with the beef-lamb gyro, and it was incredibly flavorful. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted so fresh.
What really made the experience special was the warmth of the owners — they personally came by to chat with us and made us feel so welcome. It’s clear they care deeply about their food and their customers.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious Greek food and a friendly, inviting atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back
If you're looking for authentic Greek flavor in New York, Souvlaki Street is the perfect choice! The gyros and souvlaki I tried were excellent – juicy meat, well done and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff polite and the service impeccable. Definitely a shop worth visiting again!
