I recently moved to the neighborhood and was delighted to find that I live just a short walk from Galassi's.
Their vegan ham sub is spectacular. I like to add vegan cheese, different kinds of peppers, pickles, olives, onions, and other toppings, with plenty of seasoned oil.
Most sub shops don't even have a vegan sub. When they do, it's usually just salad on bread (which is fine, but can get repetitive).
It's great to have a local place where I can bite into a big, hearty sandwich with that perfect mix of smokey, briney, tangy and spicy flavors.
I will definitely be a regular customer.

I was told this was a good place. Ordered their Nite-mare sub which is steak and sausage. The bread for the sub was good, but the meat was steak and sausages square patties. Totally disappointed. I didn't ask if it was shredded or not, but I don't think it would've mattered. Because I was hungry, I forced myself to eat it. It tasted very bland. The salad was decent and fresh, the cannoli was actually good. Will I ever give this place a second chance, no 👎🏾 I asked the clerk for napkins for this sub, and she confirmed that they were in the bag. But when I arrived at my final destination, which was I park, no napkins. I was a little pissed, because I double checked and ask before i left. It's ok, this review I would consider fair. I usually don't leave negative reviews because it's not worth it. I won't write a bad review because stuff happens. But when the staff is less the kosher when you ask a direct question, there's no forgiving that. I had hoped for a nice meal, I'll say, half of it was decent....... This restaurant is in N Tonawanda. People in that neighborhood are probably use to it. You're not getting someone, to drive out the way to eat here.

Awesome food great employees everybody's super friendly and their subs are top-notch. They have a bunch of vegan cheese options for non-dairy people that still want sub shop type food. I can finally get my bacon cheeseburger subs again! There isn't enough stars I can't rate this place high enough! Stop in when you are in North Tonawanda.

I grew up in North Tonawanda/Niagara Falls. I moved 4 years ago to the Seattle area. Every time I come home to visit 3-4 times a year, the 1st thing I do is get my chicken wing pizza. Literally, 1st thing. I call as I leave the airport. There is nothing like it anywhere, not even here in WNY! It's impossible to describe, and I can't recommend I enough.
The subs are a decent size, pretty good. The staff was friendly and the lobby was clean and had some nice antiques.
