Panxin has been my favorite Chinese restaurant for years now. They used to be called Lin BBQ and had table service way back when, but they remodeled after 2020 and just do counter service now, though they still have their tables and booths.
Either way, the food has always been delicious and fresh. Genuinely never been disappointed by anything I've gotten here. Usuals in my house are the black pepper chicken, honey chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. (We like a lot of chicken, I guess. The pork and beef are good too!) I have also tried the shrimp with lobster sauce, which I'd never had from any restaurant before, and it was flavorful and had plenty of shrimp.
Their online ordering system works remarkably well. You can order through their site and get text message updates when it's being prepared and when it's ready. If you've ordered online with them before and subsequently order on the phone, their system will recognize your number and you'll also get the text updates. I've never seen an independent takeout place with IT that works so well, haha. All the folks who work there are really friendly, too.
We had 1 sesame chicken and 1 spicy chicken entree. Both were tasty and fresh. The rice was plentiful and NOT over cooked and pasty like other Chinese restaurants will sometimes give. The price was also surprisingly low. Two dinners for $20! That's $10 per meal! Are you kidding me! The only con I could mention was I believe there is only street parking around the restaurant. I had no problem finding a spot in the street directly across from the restaurant but it's worth mentioning.
Not only are the people working here extremely kind and friendly, but this for the money spent we have enough food to last for leftovers dmmmmmmm
Not the best but definitely not the worst. Chose here more for the convenience of the location
Best Chinese food in North Tonawanda! Homemade egg rolls are super-delicious & twice the size of other restaurants. Every item/entree we have tried is very tasty never oily or greasy!
I ordered the singapore mei fun, flavor is exceptional. The eggrolls are very large, crispy and delicious. Highly recommend for this area. Prices are within reason and large portions.
Best egg rolls and house fried rice around! Full stop, they were so good we called to let them know. Egg rolls are made fresh in house and it is noticeable! I have been driving across town for Chinese food when I had the gold standard in my backyard. Don't sleep on this place, if you are looking for fresh, delicious eats for a fair price - this is the place!
We have had our share of Chinese places but Panxin Express has been the best by far. The food was hot and tasted amazing. We will definitely be ordering again.

The absolute best Chinese restaurant in the area! Food is always fresh, the workers are kind. 5 stars
Flavor, service, and the cleanliness of the store beat other local Chinese take out restaraunts. Not my favorite Chinese in Buffalo, but my new favorite when my family is clamoring for Chinese takeout during the week.
Great eggroll. The beef in the lo mein was great, too. The chicken in the sesame chicken appeared to be white meat and the sauce flavor was fair. I enjoyed the flavor of the wontons and the broth, but the noodles could have been a bit tighter and less cooked. Very nice staff and clean and updated inside. Overall, it was great especially, when compared to many local joints.
Great food great price
Ordered food here recently, and also not long before they closed and reopened under another name. Both times they forgot items. Im not sure why people say ‘wow, so fresh!’ and things of this sort in the reviews. Noodles were soggy mush, everything else was just okay. Really this place is mid at best. Not terrible, cant see myself returning here though.
