Recent visit to Buffalo, and a friend suggested I check it out. Loved the dark chocolate everything. Very friendly staff that helped us sample a variety. Both my sister and I left spending over $100 each.

Went for a chocolate factory tour and the owner was absolutely amazing! The history is incredible and the chocolate is outstanding. They not only have an awesome store, they ship anywhere and they also offer ice cream, specialty coffee and hot chocolate. You can also order a icecream cake or icecream pie. Great business with a great selection and atmosphere. I definitely recommend this incredible business.

Today I took my daughter and my son to see the Easter bunny. My son is 6, he picked out a few chocolates and candy and he didn’t realize it was flavored chocolate. He thought it was regular chocolate just with different colored foils. He picked his two favorite colors. There was literally no room to walk, everyone shoving by, so in a rush to get out of there, I quickly paid and we went to a table. My son opened the chocolates and wasn’t happy that they were flavored. One filled with marshmallow, one with something else in it. They were half eggs for like $2.75 each. I took the two half eggs up to the counter and asked if we could exchange it for a $4 milk chocolate bunny sucker. The girl said “ummm.. let me ask..” her manager then comes over with a very rude look on her face saying they will not accept any candy for exchanges or returns especially if it’s open. She just “can’t” do it. One single bite was taken out of each piece. A very small bite. I didn’t expect them to put it back on the shelf, but I definitely expected them to offer a resolution of some sort. Not to just be rude and unwilling seeing as I spent about $35 between ice cream and chocolate for my kids not to mention, it wouldn’t be coming out of THEIR pay check.

I cannot say enough about this place. If I could give this chocolate factory and all of it's employees 100 stars I would!
The food, the drinks, the candy.. everything is top quality and they don't miss on anything. Everyone we met and interacted with - Heidi, the girls making the coffee, Candy at the candy counter.. everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable.
Even if you're just driving through Buffalo, stop by here, this place is so special!

Personally I can't believe I'm going to say this but Andy's candies does it better. The chocolate shop, vibes, positive look of the building, packaging and look of the chocolate you got it down platters, but the cost is steep. I recently got the chocolate pretzels, chocolate covered oreos, pecan frogs. The chocolate pretzels were okay not like Andy's (Andy's is salty, has the crunch, this decadent chocolate, just so yum throughand through). The pecan frogs I did not love at all it was actually gross. The pecan frogs I thought would be similar to a "turtle"; the pecans and thick caramel covered in chocolate. Your pecan frogs looked the part but when I bit into it, it was a very soft truffle like texture caramel and I spit it out. The taste and texture were not ideal, for me (for somebody else this might be great lol) I wish I would've traveled just a bit further to grab Andy's candies from a niagara produce , now I have chocolate expensive $$ chocolate I don't even want, it's just in my opinion not worth what it is going for. Not trying to be harsh, just giving a very honest review after eating your chocolate.
