The chocolate milk was warm, along with Antipasta salad 🥗. The pizza was surly a disappointment, there wasn't much too it other than crust and air bubbles. When it was brought up to the chef attention he didn't see that there was a problem with the pizza. We kindly asked for the crusty cheese pizza to be taken off but the chef kindly said that he wasn't going to and that he gets great reviews all day about his pizza. If you like crusty bubble cheese pizza i hightly recommend this place other than that I'd avoid it. waitress super friendly
one of our favorite Italian restaurants! unfortunately...tonight was a nightmare. we sat...10 minutes later a waitress arrived. we got drinks..then ordered. I ordered a salad and a hero. my wife ordered a wrap. then some people sat behind us and ordered . a few minutes later...they got their salads. 10 minutes later..I still did not have my salad. 20 minutes! and no sign of our waitress. I understand..Saturday night dinner time...but that was unacceptable! we hated to do it..but we walked out. half hour and all we got was a basket of bread! it sure felt like we were forgotten all together! sorry..but it may be a while before we come back during prime rib night.
I love Nina’s for the food, atmosphere & the employees
I asked for jalapeño and received bell peppers instead, pizza also wasn’t cooked all the way. Never got my pizza remade, and was STILL CHARGED for the incorrect pizza I did not eat.
My fiancé got a wood fired or whatever it was pizza and it made him sick for the rest of the day.

Early dining at 3:30PM a couple days ago. I did not catch the server's name but she was accommodating and very personable. The Italian antipasto was quite large and fresh. Loaded with meat, cheese and all of the other ingredients expected. Bread on the side was fresh. The dish of arancini was soggy, notwithstanding the marinara. A la carte order of meatballs was served lukewarm and mushy. Borderline raw with no crust whatsoever. Quite unpalatable. A la carte order of sausage was overcooked, crunchy, dry and a chewy mouthful. Difficult to rate higher when basic Italian staples are presented subpar.

I cook better food for my Dog. Seems the quality at Nina's has gone downhill all the while the prices have gone uphill. No disrespect to the wait staff, they're great. The cook (wouldn't rate as a chef) on the other hand, not good. Sorry, but Ive been eating there 20 years and see the change.

My bride is gluten free so we have a hard time finding her good food. The pizza above is gluten free. She said it is the best gluten free that she has ever eaten.
They also offered two gluten free pasta selections.
I on the other hand will eat road kill. They didn't have R.K. on the menu, so I settled on Ravioli and Sausage. It also came with warm bread and a side salad.
The staff is excellent and the place is very clean. You do get the impression that you are in old school Italian restaurant.
Parking is free on the street and though I haven't used it they tell me that there is off street parking out back.
Nina's is about 15 miles from home and worth the drive.
Dietary restrictions: There are some gluten free options on the menu.

I do not recommend Nina's facebook changed my recommendation status. I got a calzome for dinner tonight. The back by the fold was full of my meat while the other edge was nothing but cheese. No overlap of ingredients at all definitely not a nice mix throughout.
I like the pizza and all of the other things I've tried so far on the menu. It's my favorite pizza place in the small town of

Omg....
Love this place. Great sandwich, great dishes. Service was fabulous.
Will definitely be coming here whenever I am in the area again. Might decide to be in that area again just to snag a snack here.
Love the bread on my sandwich, and just a fabulous place to eat.
UPDATE 8/30/24:
Had to downgrade the service and atmosphere portion of the review. Today I went in and spent over 100$ on a meal for 4, and while we were still eating, a server... Not our own, came over and started counting how many take home boxes we needed. Didn't ask if we were finished (we were not, and our food had only been delivered less than 15 minutes before). Just counted boxes, confirmed it with the 13yr old child at my table and brought back the take home containers.
Talk about feeling unwanted at an establishment. I tried to explain to the woman behind the counter that it was unacceptable behavior and got "Sorry that happened" as a response and she went back to her computer terminal ignoring me. I really enjoyed the food here again, as did my family, but it's hard to want to eat somewhere where you feel like you aren't wanted around. In 50 years of eating out, I have NEVER been treated like that by wait staff. So, this place may be permanently off the list for eating as my response.

The meal was delicious, however, I do have a concern to address.
I ordered a Stromboli, priced at $12. It was sectioned into three slices, with the total length measuring approximately 6 inches. While the taste was satisfactory, I cannot recommend this dish due to its cost.
I am aware of two alternative establishments, Joe's and Nick's Dinner, which offer considerably larger Stromboli for a lower price, while maintaining comparable or superior taste. For a visual reference, the size of these Stromboli is akin to an entire pizza folded in half..

The change in ownership is a positive. Food quality is much better, service remains positive.

This place WAS legendary. These days, you can tell the ingredients are cheaper and the price is way higher. I finally swore I wouldn't spend another dime there (after decades of being a faithful customer) after getting some gross meatballs in my stuffed shells dinner. i called about it and the woman on the phone disregarded my feedback and said "I think the meatballs are great". That's not customer service. Booo. I'm so sad. I used to love this place but under new (several years now) management and cost saving measures, i'd rather spend money at Angela's or Magro's. 10 years ago there used to be no elbow room on a Friday night, now there's more seats available than ever. I wonder why (aside from an expansion into the next room, but even so...). Hmmmmm. A friend used to work there and asked the previous owner how they kept their prices so reasonable with the cost of such high quality ingredients, Andy said "we do volume". Well... they ain't doing volume now. Thanks for taking away my favorite food with your $hit business strategy. :(
