To be honest. I rolled up in the park place on a first date. I got a blue moon and it was beat, must've been sitting out. I ordered the Mac Daddy Bacon Burger and fries, and both were honestly mid asf. The fried pickles were delicious though. If i could put a half star rating i would. 10/10

I was working for the week in Norwich and Park Place was mentioned as a great place to go to lunch so I took my colleagues there on a weekday afternoon. The first thing that I liked about the restaurant was the music, Yes, Jethro Tull, The Cars, etc. Right on! I ordered a diet soda and the club sandwich with fries. Both came out very quickly, as did the all of the food for the table. The sandwich was great and the fries super hot and crispy, right out of the fryer. There was enough food to eat 1/2 for lunch and finish the rest for dinner. Great spot!!

Clearly this place caters to the sports crowd and that is okay but the service is not what it should be. The food is average and sometimes the staff seems like they would rather be elsewhere.

3 years ago I visited and the staff did not know what gluten was and there were no food options for me. I am very allergic to gluten so this is serious for me. Just visited again 3 years later as a work function, this time they knew what gluten was but did not have any gluten free options besides a salad and I was not offered any solutions. The server has had other people ask as well the she said they don't have anything. So I went to Tex mex across the road and picked up tacos and brought them back so I could eat with my co workers. I understand there was salad but I go out to eat food not salad. I wish my comment 3 years ago would have changed something but obviously it did nothing.

Great food, great service and overall just a cool spot! Found this place on our way up to Turning Stone and we were very happy that we did! Huge portions and a lot of different options! Service was fast and friendly! Highly recommend!!

Stopped here for lunch during a festival weekend. As with so many restaurants over the past couple years due to COVID, it seemed very understaffed. That said - the two waitresses on shift were continually running back and forth, working very hard. We had to wait a long time for food, but when it arrived it was quite good. It's also a nice very open sports bar with more than enough TVs (also tuned to motorsports channel not just football, which gives it a big plus in my book). I was very impressed and sympathetic at how hard those waitresses were working and I made sure to give ours a large tip.

Update.... Not a fan of this place anymore. They weren't that great to begin with, but in a small upstate NY town, beggars can't be choosers. Over time this place has gone downhill. I have subjected myself one too many times with the hope it will get better. Their last menu change was it for me. The one item I use to eat was removed. There used to be several items I could chose from, but over time they removed them one by one. If you like to be somewhat healthy, or don't eat meat, you're out of luck here. They do not cater to people that don't eat meat. They do not cater to people that like to eat right, and I'm not meaning vegan, but I'm meaning you don't want to ingest 60 grams of fat and 2200 calories in one sitting (not counting dessert). Unfortunately, I can't eat at this place anymore and I can eat at most places. Most places have at least a decent fish option, or a salad, and maybe even a veggie burger. The fish items they serve are greasy and it's obvious they only use frozen fish. Call me crazy, but I don't like my food submerged in hydrogenated oils. For a place that's supposed to be a sports bar, you'd think they'd have some decent apps? Nope. Fried pickles, fried Mac and cheese bites, mozzarella sticks and a few other boring items. Zero originality at this place. It's obvious they don't have a chef that creates a menu. Here's some ideas for them.... How about a veggie burger? How hard is it to keep frozen veggie burger? Or grilled shrimp tacos with spicy slaw? Or a salad with grilled salmon or shrimp? What about mac & cheese with lobster or crab meat? Maybe even grilled veggie paninis? It's 2020 for crying out loud, and the facts have been out for over a decade. This place needs to get with the times, or they will go out of business. They have nothing to offer, except a trip to the ED to get your gallbladder removed from all the grease. Skip this place, and go to Wild Owl, Bohemian Moon or Nina's. At least you won't need to go to the hospital after.

We visit Park Place most every time we come to Norwich to see Mom (monthly). It's usually a good experience, food is good, beer is cold, atmosphere is ok (sometimes it gets too loud). However, the ower (also the owner of Freds) has decided that it is appropriate to penalize patrons using credit cards by adding an item called "Non-Cash Adjustment" to cover the credit card fee. Problem is, the "adjustment" is greater than the fee charged (to the business) by the credit card company. I cannot find an indication on the menu of this practice. Unfortunate this practice is most likely to hurt the workers and not the business owner.

Food was delicious! Burger was outstanding and huge. As good as the desserts looked the portion of the appetizers and meals made us too full to even think about dessert!

I'm new to the area and the gals behind the stick don't treat you just as a customer but as a friend, always greeted with a smile. In my book that goes a long way, food is good and plenty of tv's so you can stay up to date with your favorite teams

Belly food...nothing special. I had a taco salad which was not that great. Lettuce was just layered on the bottom and not cut up. I didn't taste any guacamole and the chili tasted sweet. Friendly service though. The haystack sandwich was suppose to have hot peppers but it didn't. And the side order of mac salad tasted old and flavorless. The peach lemonade was good.

We came in at such a busy time so everything took a while- wait to be seated, wait for server/food/bill... Sometimes I was getting impatient. Yet my french dip was excellent. The sweet potato fries were great, and I liked what I tasted from my kid's food. There are also a lot of big screen TVs so it's got to be a great place for football. Everyone seemed to know each other so we kind of felt like outsiders. I'd still return

I like the ambiance of Park Place. It's a sports bar, but has plenty of room and seating for a great meal. I've taken my kids in the day and never felt like it was a bad choice. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the food is good. The burgers are excellent.
