Very good services and food. Great environment as well. Everything from the apps, drinks, and main courses were amazing!

NYE dinner, priced fixed menu was a great deal. Several choices for stater, main & dessert. We all enjoyed our meals. Server was very knowledgeable, efficient & attentive. The hostess accommodated my request to switch tables, it was quite cold at the table we were sat since it was so close to front door.

It has become our tradition to celebrate New Year's Eve at the Gandy Dancer returning year after year because it is a special experience.

We truly enjoyed our NYE dinner at the Gandy Dancer. All of our meals were outstanding. Two of us had the scallops and risotto and two of us had the filet mignon (cooked perfectly as ordered). For NYE, the menu was a three-course prix fixe, which is not surprising or unusual, although I could not find this on their website anywhere. It would not have been a deal-breaker for us had we known, but since we had two young teens in our group, we ended up ordering food that they did not want. Service was not rushed and we enjoyed a lovely dinner. We look forward to returning.

After waiting for the hostess to show up she seated us by the tracks and I had to remind her we requested a booth, she apologized and seated us, we waited again a long time for any waiter to approach our table, finally my husband went back to the hostess to ask about service, she again apologized she did not alert the waiter. Then we received bread with fish pate(that was still frozen) & butter. Then we received the entrees , my tortellini and my husbands flounder were excellent. We took our soup and dessert home only to discover the small soup container was half full($6.00) and the dessert order for key lime pie was ignored ( clearly on the receipt) and substituted with crème brûlée. Since the take home was already packed by the waiter we did not catch any of this until we arrived at home. We have dined here before but today's service was awful and we will think twice about coming back. Btw the “holiday dinner” was one price that bundled a starter, entree, & dessert from a pre selected menu for $63.00 each! We expected more from one of our favorite restaurants!

Enjoyed the setting and the meal! The blacked yellowfin tuna was cooked very well, and I would recommend it to anyone trying to get a nicer healthier meal in!

Always love the ambiance and service is always top notch. Great place to take your grown kids and let them see a glimpse of what great service looks like!

The food was amazing, the sea bass melted in your mouth. The desserts were so delicious too.

Great atmosphere and fantastic service made for an enjoyable holiday lunch with family. The menu had a good selection for adults, though the kids' meals were a bit underwhelming. Overall, a nice experience.

The crab cake was excellent along with the lobster bisque. The mahi mahi was good but not exceptional. This was the same for the scallops with the sweet potato risotto.

Great to be back in A2 and take an afternoon to visit our old restaurant. I met my wife while working at the Gandy Dancer in the late 70's. There was a minute when the heavy rain flooded the street before the valet and a few other employees cleared the leaves out of the city drains. Good food, RIP Chuck!

What happened last night?! I've been dining at Gandy Dancer for decades but last night the service was terrible and my prime rib was over cooked. The place was busy and you had a large party upstairs but this is the business you are in, the staff size you require on a busy night should not be a surprise to you and, as a result, my dining experience was disappointing.

Everything was wonderful the atmosphere the food and the drinks! Our server Renee was awesome! Very engaging and fun. I gave her 4 stars only because our drinks took forever to come to us, I'm thinking that may not be her fault plus it's the holidays but we were thirsty 🤣 Will definitely keep going back!

I really appreciate how amenable they are to hold luggage since they're so close to the Amtrak. I like sitting at the bar for a small bite before getting on the train. Usually it's a wonderful experience, this time it was fine. I say that because I was given the incorrect salad, and pointed out a few of the issues to the person who was helping us. There were no beets, and no squash, never mind that the kale was substituted for romaine lettuce. Instead of accepting the salad was incorrect, the person maintained that it was just missing the beets. I mentioned that the orange items on the salad were mandarin oranges, and the person who was helping us maintained they were squash; they clearly were not. And again, the kale wasn't present either. After a little more back and forth, they accepted that the salad was indeed incorrect and provided the proper one post haste (and properly comped). However, the new salad was meager in ingredients (especially beets and squash). So, I probably shouldn't have replaced the incorrect one. I guess the kitchen was surreptitiously trying to tell me something about the salad I originally ordered, haha. My partner had flounder and really enjoyed it, however. I had the NY Strip and it was fine, not really flavourful, yet cooked to just above mid-rare like requested. So, overall the experience was fair, but the ambiance and location are what will continue to bring me back. And even looking back on the experience with the salad, I do appreciate the person who wanted to make things right; they just weren't knowledgeable enough about the ingredients in the salad and what they should look like.
