I haven’t eaten at Vinns in years until tonight. We ordered a couple dozen wings to try and they were amazing. 12 wings for $9.99 is probably the best deal in town. They were busy and still had them ready in 15 minutes! 5 stars all the way.

What a surprise this was, when I was doing some contract work in the Burg. No need to dress your best, Vinn's offers great food and drink in a relaxed environment, at a very reasonable price. Each day not only offers the regular menu, but 6-8 specials, which are posted daily on FB. Be sure to try the soups made fresh daily. Outdoor seating, legal beverages, and live music on certain evenings. The feeling I get when going to Vinn's is like going to Cheers. They view you as a friend, and look forward to when you come again.

I haven't ordered from here much at all within the past few months, especially with loss of income from COVID-19, but when I did in the past, the food was always good. They always had some good tasty home-made food. Only place I know of that actually puts Ketchup on their meatloaf and not gravy! I love it with Ketchup...Also, they usually have some great saucy chicken wings when they're available. ♡♡♡
We just moved in down the street, and I was so excited to learn there was a tavern within walking distance! And not just any walking distance, walking distance for a very lazy person. Unfortunately, in spite of having The Best onion rings I've ever had in my life, I won't be returning here any time soon. I walked in with my dad, my brother and my girlfriend the very same day we first arrived in town. We had just driven for five days straight from California, unloaded the pets and the trailer, and we were all ready for a chill meal and good beer. We walked in, sat down, and were immediately accosted by some old codger who had clearly been there drinking all day and was desperately in need of a glass of water and some bread, who was apparently offended that we were wearing masks in the middle of a pandemic. No comment from the waitress. But she apparently had something to say about our California IDs, when she took them behind the counter and exclaimed in a very loud whisper: "California?! What the f*** are they doing here?!?!" Like we wouldn't hear that. The only reason I'm giving Vin's two stars instead of one is those onion rings. Completely homemade, and goddamn, were they amazing. Not good enough to get me back in there, though. Even with the convenient distance. Oh well, we'll just be having our drinks down at The Place, instead! :)
